I wish I lived in a nearby area and the state so I could have hired Michael Hudzik to represent me in all matters... Unfortunately I have an ongoing family case involving my very young son. Fortunately after feeling quite lost and overwhelmed with the legal system, while having no clue as to where to turn to find help, I was able to find Michael's help to be More than "just help". His approach was empathetic, strong and very knowledgeable throughout our consultations. Michael consulted me about my current situation and here's what he did: * Clearly communicated his services and what he may be able to do to assist. * Made me feel more in control and he helped to calm my fears by providing complex legal information in a way that was easy to comprehend (I was SO worried about everything to come before chatting to him!!!) * Instructive and gave me all possible avenues I could take that he felt applied to my case. * Told me upfront the estimated ranges of what to realistically expect to spend monetarily depending on the actions I wanted to take (he was very accurate). * Very tactful and considerate with how he presented information, but did not sugar coat anything for my benefit. * I could feel that he cared and wanted to help as much as he could. * Ensured I was thinking rationally and keeping a clear picture of both the short and long term pros and cons to each decision. * Was extremely respectful of my decisions. * He wanted me to be as prepared and confident as possible moving forward. * I feel most importantly Michael wanted me to really consider all avenues, make a choice based on what I wanted and felt was right, then communicate that desire to achieve the best results. Overall I fully believe in Michael’s abilities and trust my family and my well-being in his capable hands. I would recommend him to anyone.

Ron has helped us more than once with some very difficult situations. What I like most about his office is their communication. Understanding that Ron may be in court and not always available goes with his trade. Leaving a message always got a response in a reasonable time. Not only a response, but usually a phone call instead of an email which I appreciate. Whenever there was a change in the status or important event, I felt like we were informed in a timely manner. Never felt like I was waiting to hear how things were unfolding. As a professional in audit services a keen sense has been developed in recognizing personalities and capabilities in people quickly. From the first consultation my comfort level was high that he would fight, explain, offer choices, listen to me, and most importantly be sensitive to the children that were involved in our case. We would use Ron’s office again. It is not normal for me to post reviews but felt compelled to help others make a good choice. At some point I was just like you. Looking for a lawyer in a stressed situation, not knowing where to begin, what to expect, and who I could trust. Hope this helps someone in a difficult time to make a good decision.

When he retired, I was worried that I wouldn't find another attorney who would live up to his standards. Been working with Ron for almost 10 years. He has helped me through some very tough times in a most professional manner. His knowledge of the law is profound. Ron advises to make children the priority and he is exactly right. Ron is a kind, determined, responsive attorney. He meets with you whenever you need to and he returns both emails and phone calls promptly. I'd recommend him to anyone going through a divorce, child support, or child custody case. Let's face it, these are trying and unpleasant situations but having Ron Hendrix as an advocate can make it the best it can possibly be.

I would not recommend. Ron handled my initial divorce. Upon final settlement at the time there were two specific areas which I was concerned were a little vague and not iron clad. I trusted Ron's advice at the time which was not to worry about it to paraphrase "i wouldn't have to worry about college expenses then because there will be much disparity between incomes by then" and that I could either have ex-spouse write a check for 20% each year or just ask Ron to do the paperwork each year. Unfortunately, the laws changed and the check writing to equal the 20% was not valid. Upon consult regarding recent changes, I did not feel Ron was going to fight for what he advised and was vague during the consult. As a result I hired another attorney who did successfully go to bat for me. Unfortunately, because of Ron's cavalier attitude toward my initial request at initial settlement, I am left with the ramifications. In the aftermath, my opinion was that the initial vagueness in my settlement way a way to generate revenue at a later date with the vagueness left open for interpretation. Get a second and third opinion before hiring.
