Several years ago I attended a free seminar on Estate Planning given by David Boone that was sponsored by AARP through the Downers Grove Senior Center. His presentation was very informative and ended with him saying that his firm offers a free consultation. Years later when I finally needed help with my estate planning, I had contacted several estate planning lawyers who were recommended to me, but found that they charged very high consultation fees. Remembering David Boone, I contacted his office for an appointment not certain of the quality of his free consultation. My Trustee and I were amazed at being greeted by several of David Boone’s professional associates and led into a large conference room. David himself was not able to attend, but made himself available through video conferencing on a large TV screen. Our consultation lasted nearly two hours in which we were given detailed advice on how to proceed as well as other valuable information.
