Let me preface this by saying that the people and Mr. Reidy were always very professional and understanding of my case. I am leaving a 2-star review for one reason only. I made it clear that, as I was unemployed, I really needed the firm to control costs in my divorce case. They track costs very well, but they did nothing to control costs in my case. Mr. Reidy called me a month or so ago and asked me to pay up the arrears (ok) and to pay another $7,000 to maintain my standing with the firm. Of course, I couldn't do that (I had been paying $500/month and still am), so I lost my lawyer before my divorce was finalized. Now, the opposing attorney is raking me across the proverbial coals because I am no longer protected. I have to represent myself in the final (and most important) part of my case. If you can't afford to pay over $10,000 and let the case take over 1 year, look elsewhere. If you can afford it, give them a look. As I said, they were professional. They just don't understand how to control costs.

I had a few calls and emails with this law firm that was very helpful and very responsive about this matter and they were really good about getting me through this matter with different recommendations for attorneys that could assist me too … one thing about this firm is they have your best interest at hand at all times….for having such short notice to obtain a lawyer to represent me in court they at least helped to provide important legal advice to me and helped me to move forward with motions and laws in the justice system.

For two years I haven't seen my baby boy malachi Jason walker due to his mother Yanique Edward's from Kingston Jamaica took him from me after putting an injunction against me in court in green cove springs on July 29th 2021 for months I've emailed her hoping to get responses from her but for most times her emails back to me where very malicious and very much toxic and full of lies. On Oct 2nd 2023 I got a call from dcfs a guy name Mike called me and told me that we FOUND your son malachi In a hotel room abandoned by his mother for 1 week and a half and days later I booked an airflight to Jacksonville Florida to rescue my baby boy malachi from dcfs that day. He was so happy to finally 👀 me and ran Into my arms and kissed me on the cheek and we stayed in orange park florida hotel Hilton garden Inn the same night and the next day we boarded the airplane ✈️ headed back to Chicago illinois where now he finally with me his Father Jason walker and his grandmother Joann Hooper safe, Happy and enjoying a beautiful reunion with me his daddy Jason. In so happy to be back in my son's life after 2 long years of him living in Florida with no whereabouts. Thank you all at reidy law office for your help assisting me with the divorce process and being so compassionate and concerned in me finding my son and him finally being happy.
