Tom Moran was referred to me after I was arrested for a DUI at the beginning of 2020. I had spoken to a handful of other lawyers, but Tom stood out from the rest because of his kind nature and compassion. I ended up hiring Tom for my case, but little did we know that Covid was about to hit and my case was going to be significantly delayed in court. I appreciate that Tom and his team (Lauren is the best!) didn’t pressure me into taking a plea to get the case wrapped up more quickly. They were along for the ride-as long as it took. Because I trusted Tom and never felt judged for my poor decision, I was able to be honest and transparent with him regarding the details of the arrest which I believe helped him to do his job to the best of his ability. At one point I remember Tom giving me advice “as if I was his daughter” and that meant a lot to me. It was a very long road, but it was worth the wait because Tom was ultimately able to get my charges dismissed. If I had hired anyone else, I’m not sure that would have been the outcome.

I was referred to Mr. Moran in 2018 by an attorney friend after a Cook County DUI arrest. With prior convictions on my record, I faced, and honestly deserved extremely serious, life-changing consequences including harsh fines, indefinite loss of driving privileges and incarceration. Before getting into the specifics of my case, Mr. Moran showed a personal interest in me. Based on my history, he urged me to end my relationship with alcohol, basically telling my that I simply can't drink again. As if I hadn't heard that before... After reviewing my case he told me that we definitely should not go to trial. We should promptly take necessary steps for recovery/treatment as well as complete everything that would be required by the courts. Then we would wait for the right timing to secure the most favorable plea deal that we could get, hopefully avoiding jail time. The case was recently settled after over 20 months of litigation, and the outcome far exceeded my wildest hopes. The charges were reduced, the fine was minimal and there was no incarceration or loss of driving privileges. Mr. Moran's expertise and patience in navigating my case through the court system was exceptional. And to top it off, after at least a dozen court appearances, he never charged me anything beyond what he told me it would cost at the very beginning. Mr. Moran's representation has truly been a blessing in my life. His assistant Lauren was also a pleasure to work with. She was always available for my many questions and her friendly demeanor definitely helped me to be a little more comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. I couldn't give a stronger recommendation. Thanks again!!! Today I am free, and sober. Words just can't adequately express my gratitude.

Tom treated me and represented me as if I was a member of his family. He advised me on what he thought was the best course of action was for us and asked me if that’s what I wanted to do. We went with his recommendation and we won the case. He is more knowledgeable than any other lawyer I have come into contact with.

Tom represented me on my first DUI. I was referred to him by a good friend. I was told TOM was a good DUI attorney and I was glad to find that to be true. Tom was able to get all charges dropped in my DUI case. I would refer TOM to anyone with a DUI!!! He will get you the best outcome possible. In my case acquitted on all charges!!

I was referred to Tom Moran by a friend when I had no idea where to start looking. I needed a DUI lawyer for an incident that happened last year. Tom was helpful and informative, and made me feel more at ease about the situation when I met with him for the first time. Although it was a long process, Tom was with me every step of the way, explaining what was going on and what the potential outcomes were. Tom advised me to go to trial instead of taking a plea, and I trusted his instincts. A bench trial was held, and Tom did a great job. He was very convincing and thorough, and the judge's final decision was that I was not guilty of a DUI offense. It was the best possible outcome, and I was thrilled. After the trial, a stranger that had been sitting in came up to me to let me know how lucky I had gotten with Tom Moran- that he was one of the two best DUI lawyers he knew. I feel that I did get very luck with Tom, considering I had no idea where to even start. I would recommend him to anyone.

Tom is truly nothing short of remarkable and I don't say that lightly. His defense of me, and his commitment to my case, cannot be surpassed by any other attorney and I'm willing to bet there are few others that can even come close. Tom's professionalism and responsiveness are without question. I realized early on in our relationship that he is VERY VERY bright, very experienced, and he was 100% dedicated to the best defense that could be mustered on my behalf. Tom kept informed of all the legal proceedings that were upcoming as well as all the filings he was executing on my behalf. Simply put, I could have not been better informed or better equipped to deal with my case. With all that said I was still stunned Tom's ability to perform in open court. He was nothing short of remarkable. Tom decided we should try my case rather than plead. He was right. I was acquitted. For me it was very disconcerting and scary to put my fate in the hands of a judge but I followed Tom's lead. He was supremely prepared for the trial and put on a masterful defense. Watching Tom defend me confirmed to me that he is VERY sharp, he can think on his feet, and he knows EXACTLY what do to do at trial. If a trial can be avoided to your betterment, he will tell you. I cannot say enough good things about Tom and the commitment he showed to me. Everyone should be as lucky as I was in finding Tom to represent me.

I highly recommend Tom Moran. He handled a case for me giving me great advice throughout the process where we ultimately went to a trial , he did a phenomenal job and we were ultimately successful thanks to his cogent arguments and interrogations. I was completely satisfied with his council.

Tom and Lauren make a great team!! Both worked together with me to expedite my case! Don't let Tom's modesty fool you; because when he gets in the courtroom, he dominates! I blinked my eyes and it was over! Thank you, Tom!
