I was nervous and prepared for an uphill battle going into my divorce, but Dan was knowledgeable, understanding, and professional from the start. From day 1 Dan kept me informed on each step of the process. Thanks to his professionalism, I was able to keep the ego and emotions out of the case and focus on the facts and bigger picture. Dan advocated for my children and I. If it weren’t for Covid we would have finalized a lot sooner but once the courts opened back up Dan made sure things didn’t get dragged out. I hired Dan to represent me for a couple of cases in 2020/2021. Dan was very professional, explained things to me in a way I was able to understand. He understood my goals for each case. My custody case was not an easy one due to Covid. The one thing I can say is I have never met a lawyer that was as caring and understanding as him. Even though Dan was quite busy with bigger cases, he always had the best interest in mind for me and my daughter and showed continued results. Going through a divorce is very tumultuous. My divorce was extremely tough. The whole experience was more intricate, and complicated than expected. The case was challenging and there seemed to be no end in sight. Without the professionalism, and integrity of the Law Firm of Dan Florey, I am certain that my outcome would have been far less favorable. I appreciate Attorney Florey’s sharpness, candor, responsiveness, and inspiration in helping me to establish realistic expectations and outlook, as well as guidance through a process that was entirely foreign and distressing to me. Of course, legal services are expensive, which is added on top of numerous additional things in which a divorce disrupts your life. Mr. Florey was conscientious and respectful of this impact on my life and discounted his fees when possible. Family law can involve custody, guardian ad litem, father’s rights, mother’s rights, child support, parenting time, criminal actions where crimes have been committed, orders of protection, domestic battery, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, and in some cases even DCFS involvement. Thankfully, Attorney Dan Florey expertly handled all of these complications. Dan Florey made a very serious and major situation easy to understand. I highly recommend anyone in need of a lawyer to use the Law Firm of Dan Florey.

I found Daniel Florey to be an excellent lawyer. It wasn't all about dragging my case on and getting the most money out of me. There was a personal touch that you don't always get elsewhere. He'll fight for you and he always has your best interest at heart. What else can you ask for? I highly recommend him.

He was very rude and unprofessional. I was billed 300 dollars for the initial consultation, which I was told would be free. He showed up two hours late for court and seemed not to understand my case so I fired him. When I got the remainder of my money back, the statement had very little to do with what actually went on. Most of it was extremely inaccurate and very insulting. When I pointed this out, I was told it doesn’t matter and he had to use the information that he had. That would have been great, but he didn’t do it. He just made things up. I am glad I got rid of him when I did, because he either had no clue what was going on, or was only interested in being mean and dishonest after I no longer wanted him as my attorney. Maybe both.

He is a sincere person who works tirelessly to solve your case. He strives for excellence, and always concerns himself with the person first. You can feel assured that he will always have your back. An excellent lawyer!

Where do I begin???? Dan Florey is a great lawyer and I would recommend his services to anyone in need of experienced legal council. Dan treated my case with compassion and understanding. He handled my case with genuine concern and care and fought my case with tenacity. He made sure to follow up with me on every aspect of my case. Dan could be reached whenever I needed him and provide me with the highest level of representation. What can I say, with Dan on your side you can't go wrong!

Daniel Florey is a CROOK and he STOLE my money! He should not be practicing law because his character is unethical and he can not be trusted. I was a victim of his manipulation and he ended up swindling a large amount of money from me and he did absolutely nothing but prolong my case due his negligence. I hired Daniel after he assured me that he could guarantee a quick resolution to my pending case. Almost 3 months after I hired him, he still had not retrieved my file from my previous attorney. I found myself constantly calling, emailing and texting him for days before he would respond. I was constantly worrying and stressed because it became obvious that I had made a terrible decision in hiring him. A few days before my court date I was finally able to reach him and I asked him had he retrieved my file and he said “No”. At that point I decided to just pickup my file and he had the audacity to ask me to drop it off to him. I informed him that I live about 45 minutes from his office and I didn’t feel it was my responsibility to drop my file off since I paid him and he had almost 3 months to obtain it. I offered to overnight my file to him and he never responded. At this point I was extremely skeptical how he was handling my case, so I informed that I would be attending the scheduled court date with him. When I texted him the day before my court date to ask what time I should meet him and he informed me that he had to be at another courthouse about an hour away from the Daley Center and he would be about an hour late which let me know further that my case wasn’t a priority. Right after he called to informed me that he was going to be late he called me back stating that he needed to reschedule my court date. I was extremely stressed out at the fact that he was not treating me with respect but instead he had manipulated me. After he was late to my first court date and missed my 2nd court date and still never obtained my file I decided to retain another lawyer. Soon after I requested a refund of my money since he knew that he took my money I was hoping he would do what was morally and ethically right. Instead he sent me a bogus statement filled with lies and bogus charges and a small refund which he called a “courtesy refund”. He spent more time preparing this fake document than he spent on my case in the 3 months that I he was supposed to be representing me. Based on his character from this experience I knew that he would not admit to any wrongdoing nor admit to misleading me from the start. I hoping that my story helps someone and I am praying that the Illinois Bar Association find him unfit to practice law. Tried to ruin my credibility and relationship with my new attorney by making false statements in what suppose to be my bill stating that I said I hated the attorney. His character is unethical and unprofessional.
