Steve started strong with many promises, visited the children, and promised to help. Not only was he a poor communicator, but he made the divorce case even worse. He did not have the best interests of the children in mind, and legal teams on both sides of my case were extremely frustrated with him. If you're looking for good representation with an attorney who can communicate and advocate on your behalf or the kids, look elsewhere! Worst experience ever.

After representing my case for several years, Steve Wasko's appearance at trial was marked by serious misrepresentations and factual errors. When these were pointed out to the judge, she ignored his arguments. Mr. Wasko's irregular billing practices were also a source of confusion. For months on end, his office sent two separate and contradictory billing statements each pay cycle, a problem they were for some reason unable to resolve. After the trial, it took several months and frequent outreach before his office finally returned the retainer balance.

Steve representing my case for three years, he is knowledgeable, kind, super smart, full of justice. I am grateful forever of all his work done for me. He is such a great and kind man. No words to describe how grateful I am for everything he did for me and my children. I highly recommend Steve.

Steve represented me this last year during a case my ex husband brought against me that was filled with falsehoods. Steve was able to prove him wrong in the courts and my case was more than just successful. I feel heard and protected, which is something money can not buy. Steve will call you out if you are out of line but he will also fight for you with everything he has. I used Steve for my very simple divorce. He was great in court and the judge heard our case first. That was in June, since then I have called him at least 50 times. He nor his office has not returned a call. The only thing I have received was another bill. I have had some very serious issues with my x regarding my children and custody and the police have been involved. I left messages and text and spoke with the girl in the office...still no reply from Steve. This has been very disappointing and aggravating considering my children custody could be on the line and I have already pId him $3600. If you decided to go with him I suggest you make sure he has time for you or your case will make him enough money.

He appeared to be very diligent with preparation while accumulating fees. One recommendation about a meeting requiring three lawyers for two hours was in my opinion an expensive waste of time and money that did not produce any result. The disappointing part was at the crescendo when he was from my perspective ineffective in front of the judge. Seems to just be going through the motions (I could say this about the judge as well). And then after much prodding he provided the weakest invoice I have ever seen. No detail just a lump amount with out any accounting that swallowed 98% of the retainer.

Having Steve as my lawyer, I actually felt like I wasn't even represented. He was very unprofessional! My Ex-wife got almost everything, I got all the bills and the shaft!!!! Never use this attorney!
