When purchasing a home you can't underestimate the importance of having a good attorney. Lisa isn't that, she's GREAT! We were referred to Lisa from our realtor when we went under contract on a house. We were so happy with the referral, she helped us a ton. Hi... we ended up buying the condo we leased because the our older owner was selling off his assets due to adding expenses maintaining the units in our building. We chose Lisa off of the web and I am or we are so glad we did. First she and her assistant are always available, even if its short they still respond via email, text and phone calls. We used a dual agent to buy our condo, the same fella that helped us rent it. He was good to, our loan brokerage and lenders were really complicated to work with and constantly sent us or requested information either the day off, late night or on weekends hours before a deadline... Lisa helped is maneuver through all this madness. She went through every single document in detail with us but explained it in a manner in which simple folks like us could understand. This was our first time buying a home and although everything else was kind of rough to work through the best choice I made was in my legal team and that was with Lisa and her sister and Brandy I would highly recommend them again because we are still having problems with the association answer insurance problems one month after a purchase and she is still helping us.

Lawyers have a reputation. A bad one. A quick google search of “lawyer jokes” will inundate you with thousands of results. Guess how many of them paint lawyers in a good light? I haven’t found a single one. Even in jokes that combine professions, “A priest, an astronaut, and a lawyer walk into a bar” for example, It’s ALWAYS the lawyer that is portrayed as the bad guy. Have Lawyers been unfairly pigeon holed as the bad guy? I’m not going to say since I don’t want to be held liable. What i can tell you is that this after working with Lisa and her firm made these jokes a little less funny. My father recently passed and he chose Lisa before hand to handle all of his end of life paperwork and how to set things up to make it easier for me and my siblings. A loss of a loved one is not an easy thing to deal with and getting mountains of paperwork in lawyer speak just adds salt to a very deep wound. Working with Lisa during an emotionally turbulent time, it never felt like I was talking to a lawyer, it was more like talking with an empathetic family member that could translate for you. She made the process far more bearable. Just knowing how to proceed from step to step and explained with affinity to the situation reduced my anxiety greatly. In conclusion, I’ll end this with a bad joke: A priest, an astronaut, and a lawyer named Lisa walk into a bar. Lisa buys the first round then the astronaut robs the place.

This was my 5th real estate transaction; and I can attest to the fact that having a great team makes a huge difference in the stress level of something that could easily get complicated.
