Elder is the best around the Winnebago county area when it comes to criminal cases! His team is professional, kind hearted, and they truly care about the outcome of your case. I don't like to do negative reviews, but in this case I think it is warranted. Attorney Granger was recently the defense attorney for a friend of mine accused of a sex crime. I believe/know that my friend was innocent of the charge, but a jury voted guilty and now he is sentenced to decades in prison. I, and everyone else I know that was following this case, are of the opinion that attorney Granger did a very, very poor job of defending our friend. This was unexplainable as he appears to have a good reputation and good reviews. The prosecutor called many 'expert witnesses' to testify and he did not have one. Also, he did not display a desire or ability to thoroughly cross examine those witnesses. Perhaps he is better at some areas of law than others, or maybe he over extended himself, but I just believe something needs to be said about his performance in this case. I don't believe the defendants family received anywhere near what they paid for in attorney fees.

I was out of the country with very limited communication access when I needed a lawyer for a family member. I knew Grainger from years ago and reached out through the website and immediately Whitney answered back and an agreement was made, you can't imagine my relief! Our next request of Grainger and staff was to settle our case quickly. We did not want this case to be continued month after month as I know some cases can. I am very happy to say that he did exactly as we asked and very happy with the outcome. If you need a criminal lawyer and don't know what to do, then call Graingers office.
