I was in an accident February 1st of 2020 and David Monteleone helped me get my full amount he always treated me with respect, answered all my questions no matter how dumb they might have been, and always got back to me in a timely fashion. Call these guys if you want someone to tell you to do it yourself and they'll file the papers. Their phone assistant was hired to tell people that they should go on the SS website. Way to go. What you're saying is you won't help unless it's been figured out already. What if my disability doesn't allow me to do such things? Call elsewhere.
