Terrible Guardian Ad Lietum. Never did review anything sent to her, waited until the last moment to meet us and see our home. Did not follow up on orders from the judge to work with my lawyer, who is also a terrible lawyer. Continuance after continuance in court. I've waited years to put reviews out. My first lawyer should be ashamed he referred her to our case.

The first thing that stood out to me about Ms.Ballard is that she genuinely wanted to gather all of the facts surrounding the case and was very forward with the fact that she would not take on a client if she didnt fully believe it was in the best interest of the child. That made me feel not only that her moral compass was facing north but that she truly cared about her clients and her job. Ms. Ballard was on my case immediately fighting for me. She kept me informed throughout the whole proceedings and confirmed with me before filing anything. She was a blessing to work with and went above and beyond all expectations.

Tomiko brought peace to our family during a difficult custody case. We rarely had to coach her on what to say or do at court dates, she already knew what was in our best interest. After years and years of falling short with lawyer after lawyer from everywhere from Chicago to Rockford, Attorney Ballard is the only one that was able to get me RESULTS!! She is good at what she does. I only wish I would have found her sooner so I could have saved my son.
