If I could give zero stars I would. Poor communication, lack of organization. While I was going through the worst time of my life, Andrea squeezed every penny out of me. I switched from my original attorney, Anthony Joseph, because Andrea had a lower retainer and money was tight. One of the biggest regrets of my life. I was in an emotionally abusive situation and my family was suffering , including my 8 year old son. When I mentioned Andrea’s name to a family friend who is also a child custody attorney he said to steer clear because he had never heard of her and he knows all of the top names. I never write bad reviews. I always try to promote positivity. However during the most fragile and heartbreaking time of my life I felt taken advantage of. If you don’t heed my words of caution and do retain her, never send her a text . She charges me $385 for her response to one of my texts in time of crisis which her response was , “keep doing what you are doing.” If you want a lawyer who has compassion, attention to detail, has excellent communication, and won’t squeeze every penny out of you stay far away from this law firm . Out of any business I’ve dealt with this has been the worst both professionally and financially. I could go on and on about how horrible this experience was. $3k later and the motion she proposed to file was never filed. Admittedly, during this crisis I texted her because I felt hopeless. And changed my mind over one of the motions . But once we had a final decision her promise to file the motion by 11:59pm was never fulfilled. I was under the impression the motion was filed because she sent me a text confirming it was filed. Thankfully I had a bad feeling about her and switched attorneys. Once they took over they checked to see if any motions were filed and none were. Once top of that she tried to stick me with an additional bill of nearly $200 on top of my $3k retainer. Absolutely ruthless. Not sure how they sleep at night ripping clients off in their most vulnerable time. I’m completely flabbergasted.

If you value your kids, mental health, time and money stay away. If 0 stars was an option that was what I would give her.

Ankin law the best. I really appreciate there service and attention that they put in my case. They are a very professional at what they do I will definitely hire them again and will recommend them to friends and family members and also to the public. Good job Ankin law.
