Jeff Muntz helped me through my divorce. He has his clients' best interests in mind and goes above and beyond to help them. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a divorce lawyer.

After leaving a physically abusive relationship, I attempted to negotiate parenting issues amicably; however, it was short lived. My initial interviews with family law attorneys consisted of both male and females, small to large firms, cheap to expensive counsel, and a couple recommendations. I ultimately chose Goostree Law Group based on their professionalism, cost-effective guidance, and willingness to listen. I have been extremely pleased with Jeffrey D. Muntz’s support and guidance. I professionally retained Mr. Muntz in late 2014 and he helped me secure many rights as a father. I now have major decision making authority over healthcare and mental health, first right to schedule and attend routine medical appointments, daily communication with my son, among many more. Understanding we all need work-life balance, Mr. Muntz has eased many emotional situations with simple communication emails on nights and weekends, although this has not been an expectation. But let’s get down to where rubber meets the road for most reviewers… Jeff doesn’t schedule unnecessary meetings, phone calls, or other reasons to simply charge clients more billable hours. Contrarily, Jeff and Goostree Law Group have worked with me on outstanding monthly balances through the years. Furthermore, Jeff professionally advocates on my behalf and is thoughtful, putting my son’s best interest first. For example, when I have wanted to escalate various issues, Jeff has provided legal counsel and ways to navigate the “system” to help us achieve desired outcomes. My ex-girlfriend and family have tried to financially bully me into litigation, but Jeff’s keen understanding of the law has aided in justification of submitting petitions at the “right” time. While Jeff and Goostree Law Group cannot change family law, they sure in hell can help you get the appropriate outcomes you need.

I have worked with Jeff Muntz for over four years in the post-decree matter of my former marriage. While having to file numerous petitions and motions, and he took the lead the whole time and knew exactly what to do and what would be most effective. Mr. Jeff Muntz is an outstanding attorney. First, and foremost, I want to thank you, Jeff Muntz, and your staff, for helping me through the most difficult time of my life. Hearing that this is finally over is something I have thought about and wished for every single day for the past 1.5 years. I can't say enough good things about Jeff. He handled a very contentious, drawn-out (by my ex) case with tact, diplomacy, and most of all, patience. He fought and obtained a positive agreement for my my children and myself, which is no small task in the state of Illinois! Jeff handled my divorce case which was a contentious one. He gave me honest guidance and was always attentive to my concerns and understanding of my stance. He was very clear on how things would be handled and always followed up to emails, court dates, etc., very quickly. The office staff was always pleasant. As most divorce are stressful on all involved, I always felt a sense of calm after speaking to Jeff when emotions were high.

Jeffrey did a very good job in communicating clearly every step of the process and was very informative as to what the statue states for both sides. He was also very prompt in responding to all of my questions, which made me feel that Jeffrey had a sincere interest on my behalf of this case.
