Charles represented us when a private equity firm bought the commercial building where we owned a unit and were officed. They attempted to force us into a buyout that was also linked to a lease agreement to follow that was grossly unethical and absurdly to their advantage and would result in a sell price well below what they had already paid to the other 90% of unit owners. An outcome in their favor would jeopardize our small business, as well as leave us beholden to the same people who had exploited us - for years after the fact. It was a David and Goliath situation and they had the legal basis thru a manipulation of the law to provide them with the basis to do it. In the end, and in a very improbable outcome, the private equity firm relented and then capitulated to match the purchase value with no lease all as result of Chip's superb legal maneuvering and strategy without us ever having to step foot in court. While I can't review the quality of his representation I can comment on Mr. Muscarello's responsiveness. I called and spoke with him over two weeks ago. He was in his car and I gave him a brief description of my legal issue. He asked me to email him the details and he would get back to me. I did as he instructed and emailed him that day. After not hearing back from him for a week I called his office and spoke to his receptionist who said she'd relay the message to him. Still no return call so I called his receptionist 2 more times and left similar messages for him to call me. I still have yet to have my call returned.
