We first met Sam when we were deciding if we wanted a Trust. He was very pleasant and answered all of our questions thoughtfully and in a way we could understand the legal jargon. We have really enjoyed working with him.

But the person assured me that he was a man of great integrity, and I have found that to be true. My Mother's will had not been updated since 1966 and required research of the laws of that time. Although I viewed the process as a very big and intimidating issue, Sam was very reassuring and alleviated my fears and concerns. The death of a loved one is an emotional time. I have heard that there are often hurt feelings and breakups within the family. All went well with ours and he included a letter explaining her will and the implications to my Mother's 7 grandchildren. The family remained in tact! After that experience, my husband and I had no reservations having Sam handle our trust. He has been very thorough and patient and encouraged us to involve our sons in the process. We appreciate that he keeps us updated on any new laws we need to know about that may impact our trust. We have no qualms that all will go well when the time comes.

Sam Collins is the lawyer at the Estate Planning Center that will work with our children at the time of our deaths to execute our trusts as they are written by us. Sam has worked with us through meetings and educational workshops as we developed our trusts. We feel very confident that he will make this process as efficient as possible for our heirs when the time comes.
