I partnered with Lavell for help pursuing a temporary restraining order and was charged $3,122.08 while working with four individuals. Unfortunately, nothing was done for my family, and the TRO was never filed in a timely manner. There were multiple mistakes, many unanswered calls, and emails. When it came time to hold someone accountable, I was again met with silence. This entire experience, from start to finish, was a lengthy and stressful process, and I would not recommend it to anyone. It has been a waste of my time and resources. The amount I was charged was never credited, and no one has gotten back to me.

I was trying to renew my TX driver license and someone was using my identity and racked up a bunch of tickets in Illinois and was preventing me from renewing it and I was on a 90 day time line before it expires so I Hired this law firm TO ASSIST ME AND I Paid the initial $600 deposit, After 30 days, I hadn't heard anything so I called and was told they are working on it. 60 days past and i I called and actually got to spoke to an attorney who said again they are working on it I decided to call the Illinois cook County courts and was told no law firm has attempted to submit any paperwork on my behalf so they ended up emailing me all the paperwork I needed to fill out and I had to pay a fee and eventually was able to clear my name but my license did expire and I never heard from any attorney from this firm ever again and I was out the $600 deposit.

I would strongly advise against using this firm for any legal matters. I am a 25 year member of the Schaumburg business community. I have served on various not for profit boards and am actively involved in the community attending a local church and volunteering at various civic organizations. I made a huge error hiring LaVelle Law to represent me in a family law case. I would describe the decision to hire this firm as the worst decision I ever made in my life. I found the firm to be far more interested in billing and maintaining relationships with opposing counsel than protecting me their client. I couldn’t be more disappointed with the representation I received.
