At a critical time in my professional life, I was forced to make an important decision regarding legal representation based on nothing more than a referral. A scary proposition. I soon met with Matt Sheahin, then began working closely with Brian Massimino. I was immediately impressed with Brian’s thoughtful and thorough approach to his work, and was further made comfortable by his knowledge and calm demeanor. In a crisis, it is often the clearest thinkers who are most effective. Brian has a sharp legal mind, and was methodical both in dissecting the nuances of my legal matter and in providing wise counsel to properly address this matter every step along the way. We retained Lavelle Law for a complicated business transaction. Frank Portera was the attorney assigned to our account. Our transaction was a critical path/time sensitive transaction that required constant interaction and numerous immotile deadlines. Frank was always ahead of the curve and and drove the progress of this transaction to its end. While our past experiences with attorneys has been seemed to always be one of a slow trudging pace, Frank moved at what we would describe "lightning Speed".
