Robert is an excellent attorney! He has a true passion and dedication for his work! From his many years of experience, I was provided with sound legal advice during my divorce process. However, perhaps of equal importance, was the empathy and support I felt throughout. He will always give you his honest "take" on the situation and because he has so much experience, he is almost always correct. He also won't waste your money needlessly. Of greatest importance, is his character and demeanor. He is highly respected by his fellow colleagues and the judge himself, which cannot be said of other lawyers! I will gladly recommend him to my friends and family!

I cannot say enough about Robert!! He's been my Attorney for many, many years (OVER a decade!) and has worked tirelessly on my case. He is kind, caring and compassionate, honest, dedicated, sincere and extremely informative and understanding. All of those things and his knowledge of "all things legal" are beyond impressive and comforting! His temperament is such that I have always felt at ease, no matter what new twist and turn occurred - and in my case, there have been too many to count! My situation is about as complex as can be. It's been a long and extremely detailed situation - and it still may not be over. To make matters worse, I live out of state and could not make the numerous court appearances necessary. Robert took on my case many years ago. It was very clear, early on, that he was personally vested in not only helping me, but dedicated to taking care of everything; even outside of normal business hours! He truly becomes involved and his care and personal involvement gives a sense of calm to an otherwise upsetting situation. He ALWAYS made me feel at ease. His professionalism and the clear respect he has from others within the court systems (Judges, other attorneys, doctors, clerical staff, etc.) is evident and impressive. My case was originally in DuPage County, then was transferred to Cook County. He worked closely with a Guardian ad Litm, Court appointed psychiatrist and a number of supervisors appointed for visitations, etc. (I did say it was complex). No matter what or when, he ALWAYS had the best interests of myself and my children as top priority. When flying up to Chicago for a mandatory court appearance, Robert even met with me after business hours at his office and didn't rush through anything. He's always explained things and laid out both the best and worst scenarios regarding what issue was at hand and never left me with unanswered questions. Robert's generosity with his time and commitment would be more than enough, for anyone, but when times were/are financially tough, he's continued working, with the same dedication and vigor he's provided me throughout all these years! I feel that I am not just a client to Robert. The manner in which he conducts himself and the true caring he possesses is extremely unique and rare. I HIGHLY recommend him and am very grateful for everything he has done, and continues to do for my children and I. Just in case you're wondering - he's REPEATEDLY won and made sure things were in our favor! You owe it to yourself to meet with Robert - you will be meeting a wonderful person with genuine care and concern WITH the professionalism and knowledge of an Attorney who is TOPS in the field!!

Mr. Kaplan helped me with my last two child support modifications and returned favorable results. He is by far the most knowledgeable and professional attorney I've worked with. This law firm is extremely efficient, and well versed in family law. Robert and his team responded to my questions quickly, and promptly returned my calls. He took the time to listen to my concerns, and explain in detail what my options were. I would highly recommend this lawyer.

Robert was a great help with my divorce case. I do not have the best English and he was able to work with me in settling my case as best as possible after quickly learning my ex husband was going to make every little thing as difficult as possible. Thanks to Robert, I received the fairest outcome for my divorce.
