Don’t know the law. Requesting payment constantly. Can’t provide 1 invoice or detailed billing after a year of payment. Failed to show up in court. Can’t follow up on motions. You need to beg for communication (so busy doing nothing) and never get it. Was not noticed about fillings and appearances I was to attend until a few days before…… Can’t get a copy of my file and it’s close to a year! Stay away!!! FRAUD!!!! Starting class action for anyone interested!

I truly enjoyed working with Ben Schneider to get the job done where other’s were just getting out of the starting block. A sound and solid legal firm with a sound solution and an legal approach that makes sense on the legal front. Ben Schneider is untrustworthy, unprepared, unreliable. In early December 2022 I entered a request for an estate attorney in the American Bar Association’s website to search for a lawyer. Ben responded right away. I didn’t feel comfortable talking with him, felt like high pressure sales, but he sounded knowledgeable so I decided to have him prepare my will for $2500. Over the next month or so we communicated via phone and email to finalize details of my will. On January 12th 2023 we agreed to meet at his office in Schaumburg to sign and notarize the documents. I paid $2500 via credit card. When I got there he called to say he’d be half an hour late. His “office “ was the conference room in an office complex. He forgot to renew his notary public stamp and had to borrow someone else’s in the reception area. After looking over the documents there were a few minor details with the format of the trust that I asked him to correct, he assured me he would make the changes and have the final copy for me in a week. A week later I emailed him and he said he’d have it ready soon. That was the last I heard from him. I subsequently sent 2 more emails over a period of 5 weeks with no response from him. Not knowing what else to do, I disputed the $2500 credit card charge that I used to pay him. About 2 weeks later on Sunday Ben leaves me 2 phone messages and calls me a third time in a panic. He claimed he didn’t see any of my emails. I don’t believe him. At this point I should have just fired him. He pleads with me to reinstate his payment on my credit card. He apologized repeatedly and said he’d bring the documents over in the afternoon. He then calls a couple hours later and said he forgot his office is locked on Sunday and he couldn’t get in his office. He brings the documents on Monday. He says he’s open to any “tweaks “ on the trust. And to call him instead of emailing. I called him twice next week for a clarification in the trust. He argued with me and didn’t want to do the change. I explained my brother also wanted it done and he finally did it. A few weeks later I had another question concerning the name of one of my trustees. I’ve called and left 5 messages, no response. Ben Schneider is only interested in your money, had I not disputed my credit card charge I wonder if, or when I would have heard from him again.Ben Schneider is the worst! DO NOT use him!
