My sister knew her cancer was probably terminal, and did her best to be organized, but I found Carolyn and it was the best thing I could have done. Difficult family dynamics, husband with open-heart surgery, alienated daughter, anxious son, she handled it all and gave wonderful advice and set things up so my sister's wishes would be fulfilled. Carolyn works alone, not part of a huge downtown firm; she has the personal touch and a big heart, in addition to being very competent. Thank you so much.

We hired Carolyn Coukos to assist us in updating our wills and trust when we moved to Illinois from Florida. She came to our house when one of us found it difficult to travel. We are completely satisfied with her work and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Ms. Coukos carefully considered what was needed for our wills, as well as for powers of attorney for health care and finances. She did not recommend unnecessary additional services, and even discovered an overcharge that she promptly refunded. She was very accommodating and her fees were extremely reasonable.

I engaged Carolyn to pursue unclaimed property in the State of Illinois. Since the property had been unclaimed for over 20 years, a significant amount of paperwork had to be prepared and filed to establish I was the rightful heir. Her attention to detail and professionalism throughout what, at times, became a very frustrating process paid off in the end with a very successful resolution of the claim.
