In 2014, my conditional green card was terminated after my first marriage failed. I was in deportation proceeding after. When I saw Atty. Tim Gambacorta for a consult, he told me what I should do and documents I will need. While I was in removal proceedings, I got married. We filed a new petition for an alien relative with my new husband. It was approved with the help of Atty. Tim, my deportation proceeding was terminated. We then filed to adjust my status. I want to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Gambacorta for his hard work in my case. I am initially from Thailand and I married an American citizen but I was beaten and sexually mistreated by my husband. My husband (my ex now) told me that he wanted to kill me but he was afraid to go to jail. He threw me out of his house and told me I should go back to the poor country where I came from. I did not know what to do. I managed to get my conditional green card but after I received this card is when all the trouble with my ex-husband started. I knew that I had to do something because once my conditional card expires I would be forced to leave the country. I met this man, Mr. Gambacorta who took me in his office and explained the entire process of getting a permanent green card based on abuse. I was nervous because the stakes were high, if my application to renew my conditional card got denied Mr. Gambacorta told me that the regulations provided that the U.S. immigration service would put me in proceedings. Mr. Gambacorta told me not to worry and that we would solve this problem one step at a time. After doing an extensive interview with me Mr. Gambacorta took his copious notes and compiled the waiver application. He submitted everything on time. When it was time to interview he accompanied me to the interview and answered any of the questions the officer had. Now, a couple of days ago I finally received my permanent card. I never have to face an immigration judge and so relieved that I have my life back. This Attorney is great! He is articulate when he talks to you and given my case the fees were more than reasonable. Check out this guy next time you are facing deportation or any kind of immigration problem. His initial meeting is free and he does not charge for additional consults or telephone calls. Timothy is a great lawyer who knows the field of immigration really well, he has competent lawyers working for and with him who guide you throughout the process. The process of obtaining my greencard took roughly 5 months from start to finish.
