Pete Beard handled my case with the upmost excellence. He was up to date on current changes in Illinois law and best approaches to my specific case. He presented me with different strategies and plans of attack in resolving my issue, all the while giving me the pros and cons to each choice and why he thought a particular approach would be the best. In addition to keeping me "in the know" about the various legal mechanics of the issue, Pete also knew the majority of the people that would be appraising, reviewing, and judging my case. The insight he had on how particular individuals would interpret and react to our presentation was stunning and certainly a benefit that couldn't be gained anywhere else. In my situation, I had numerous third parties that needed to be contacted and negotiated with. I never had a hard time getting a hold of Mr.Beard, getting paperwork, or wait for a update on my case. And I've got to mention, Holley, Rosen and Beard's support staff were of equal quality. Always friendly, knowledgeable and sharp. It was an instant relief from the moment I started dealing with their firm - a feeling which persisted from A to Z. I cannot tell you how relieved I am to have followed my colleague's recommendation to put them in my corner. If you have anything close to a complicated/severe situation (or a simple one that you just want the optimal resolution for), you gotta go with these guys. I don't usually write reviews but for the service I received they could easily quadruple their rates and they're currently a STEAL as they remain very competitive with the local market. In my opinion and personal experience, I can say with total confidence that to go it alone on a Work-Comp injury case, is a certain recipe for personal disaster! It may appear initially that your company has your best interests at heart, but I would suggest that, too often, they're just going through the legal motions to protect themselves & see that you reach a "minimally acceptable" point of recovery, then back to work. (And then your on your own)! I shutter to think how I would have wound up without the expert guidance & representation of Steve Rosen, of the Holly Rosen & Beard team! There were a number of twists & turns during the 3 1/2 years on my WC case, and there's no doubt in my mind that I would have been "kicked to the proverbial curb", as it were, had I not had Steve as legal representation. (Worth noting, it's not just your company that may be of concern, but there's also some in the Medical Establishment that may tend to bow to the Big Insurance Co's desires, putting you in the back seat of priorities)! I tip my hat to Steve Rosen, & highly recommend him for "any" WC related injuries. In fact, the whole team at Holly Rosen & Beard is very professional, experienced, & skilled, in a number of legal areas. There are those who spend large sums on slick commercials, etc, then there are those who just go in and play ball...and win the game! This is the winning team.
