Hired Mike to help with my divorce case. Mike missed all of the deadlines for his deliverables, submitted several forms with technical errors, did not respect me as a client, made many important omissions at trial, even after prompting, and ultimately lost my case.

Michael Schatz picked up the ball that was horribly fumbled by another law firm, who I will not mention and got my case across the goal line. He was honest, upfront, pulled no punches about the case and got it all done for a very fair price. He never over billed or charged for any service he did not provide. His rates are ridiculously affordable and I never once felt like I was not getting my moneys worth throughout the entire time he represented me. His knowledge regarding marital law in Illinois was astounding. For as poorly as my first council performed, Michael Schatz was the polar opposite and I will forever be thankful that I found him to represent me.
