Divorce case with abuse and child endangerment concerns. I hired one attorney just before Covid, she quit. I had to them hire another, and chose one based on general local recommendations - but she allowed my abusive ex’s attorney to drag the case in for 2 years, and HUGE bills. She would forget conversations, and forget to file things. I couldn’t officially switch attorneys again mid-case, so I paid for a very affordable consult with Ruth twice. I got more information and help from her in those brief consults than I did in 2 years with my regular attorney. Knowing what I know now- I will only ever recommend Ruth!

The first time I called Ruth's office, I was surprised because she answered the direct line. "Hi, this is Ruth..." I didn't have to jump through hoops to talk to someone and at the time, it felt urgent. I was thinking about filing for divorce, and just wanted to learn what the process was like - if it would be the best option for me and my family. Ruth was so helpful. She explained things, provided balanced information, and gave me all the time that I needed throughout the entire process. Because of Ruth and the professionalism of my ex-husband's lawyer, we both had a good experience - as good as a divorce experience can get, I suppose! It was timely, we both felt heard, and were able to reach a compromise on all issues. We are both now remarried and happily get along.
