I was arrested in champaign county for a DUI in september 2018. I was underage at the time of arrest and I was extremely worried about my future and what the outcome of my case could be. After reading many positive reviews about Mr. Bruno I had a meeting with him I didn’t need to meet with another lawyer before deciding I wanted him to represent me. Tom was quick to respond to all emails, phone calls or text messages and his depth of knowledge for my situation was tremendous. He was very helpful in explaining the process of what would happen during each and every court appearance. In the end I was not convicted of my DUI and I was sentenced to 12 months court supervision, 100 hours community service and to attend the required classes. I couldn’t be happier that I chose Tom to represent me, because of him I will not have a DUI on my record and i felt properly guided and comfortable throughout the entire process. I recommend Tom to anybody who needs legal assistance.

Horrible attorney. Only cares about getting his money and assumes everyone’s guilty without putting any real thought into ANY case. He literally got my case confused with someone else’s. So unprofessional in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and move on from this guy.

I am a Disabled Veteran with PTSD and have issues with trust and wondered if after hiring a lawyer for my DUI and paying for there services would I get the please hold we will get right back with you and I must say when I went and talk to Mr Bruno in person he made me feel more comfortable and confident in his ability's then when I needed to talk to him over the phone which is usually at that point since you have already Hired him and Payed in full you would get the run around not know what is going on till you are in court but this was Definitely not the case with Mr Bruno my call was returned within the Day and all my questions where answered completely to my satisfaction and he informed me that he was willing to meet if needed in my personal opinion I would and will recommend him as an Attorney that is Professional and will not ask for you trust but will in fact earn your trust

Thomas Bruno was very professional and helped me get the best outcome for my situation. I was very worried the entire time and he seemed confident in his abilities which made me feel calmer about the whole thing.

I know Tom Bruno is well respected...I trusted that Tony knew what he was doing based on his father's reputation. That mistake cost me big. After everything was said and done I cannot believe how poorly Tony performed. On several occasions he wasn't able to answer simple legal questions I had, he mis-represented himself as someone with "FOID" law experience, and he had an arrogant demeanor in all my dealings with him. I was considering going to trial. If I had gone further I planned to fire Mr. Bruno and work with a different attorney from my home town who actually could answer questions, was a fighter, and gave me unbiased counsel. I wouldn't give this, for lack of a better word "sheister" a dime of my money if I had a second chance. Wish I never met the guy. I highly recommend looking elsewhere: I was charged $2500 for him to talk to the public defender's assistant once or twice, answer questions with mostly "I don't know", on some occasions, he simply gave me incorrect information about my options (I spoke to another attorney that educated me). Tony was obviously looking out for his bottom line the entire time and I was dumb to give him the benefit of the doubt while he pissed away all my legal options. I would have a hard time believing there is anyone worse than him in the area contrary to some of the "reviews" I saw on other sites. They must have been shills. Very dissatisfied!!
