I've been loyal at making my payments since the payment arrangement was agreed upon. Usually the person I talk to when need be acts professional and has respect. But today was not the case. I simply called with important information regarding my payment and I was shocked at how I was talked to. It was just a simple phone call that escalated into a attitude problem for know apparent reason. Myself being an older adult handled the situation best as I could without acting out of character. I called back and spoke with another person she was nice and listened to what I was trying to explain without a single rude word. I let them know my payment is in the mail (priority) and that was it no need for the aggressive attitude it doesn't solve any. Thanks to the nice young lady for just being niceš

I spoke to a lady today who just didnāt seem very smart. She didnāt answer my questions correctly and the call was a big waste of time. She seemed more interested in letting me know what she couldnāt tell me, rather than how to help. Hereās the crazy part, I called to make a $10,000 payment to them! Lol

The sketchiest company ever! I had settled for amount on credit card. They had my bank account taken for full amount. $700 more than I settled for. This was back in September. Spoke with Chris, he said they would refund me the difference. Called today Anthony says bank still has $. Even though I closed the account. He now is stating I owe total amount . Thieves!!!!!! I even spoke to the sheriff who served the bank. Got my bank statement with 0 balance!!

Horrible company!!!! Court mailed them a check for my final balance, mind you it was $375 over what I owed because they told employer to continue to take out 25% of my pay till they told my employer otherwise. My balance left with them was $23.63. I keep calling to see if they received the court check yet and NOPE. Went to the court house and have documents showing when it was mailed. Do I get to start collecting interest like they do for holding my money?!?! Just a flat out money scam!! I have paid my dept plus $375, just post my payment and refund me what is owed to me.

I recently had to deal with Blitt & Gaines, the collection agency for Discover Card, and let me tell you, the experience started off as one of the most toxic interactions Iāve ever encountered. I had just been through a traumatic event in my life and was trying to get things back in order when I called this agency. The first lady I spoke to, who was simply verifying my identity, was incredibly rude and nasty. She made an already difficult situation worse with her toxic attitude.
When I asked to speak with her supervisor, I thought things might improve, but unfortunately, it wasnāt much better. Both individuals were extremely condescending and repeatedly made me feel like a bad person for being in this situation. It was truly unbearable, and I was left feeling demoralized.
However, after a month or two of trying to navigate this, I finally spoke with a manager named Miss Julie, and let me tell you, she was a ray of sunshine. Julie took the time to talk through everything with me and offered real guidance. She went above and beyond by giving me the names of two people I could contact directly moving forward. I chose to work with Cassandra, and from the moment I spoke with her, things turned around completely.
Cassandra was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about guiding me through the process. Within just a week or two, I had everything resolved. It made all the difference having someone who treated me like a person, rather than just another case to collect on.
While Julie and Cassandra are the reason Iād give this review six stars if I could, Iām holding back from a full five-star rating because of the toxic behavior I experienced from the initial representative and her supervisor. I understand that collections can be a tough business, but thereās absolutely no need for hostility and nastiness.
To Julie and Cassandra: Thank you. You made a painful process bearable, and I truly hope Blitt & Gaines recognizes how valuable you are. You treated me with respect and kindness, and that made all the difference. The final settlement amount was nearly the same as what the toxic representatives were demanding, but the difference was that you treated me with decency.
If anyone from Blitt & Gaines reads this, please give Julie and Cassandra a raise. Theyāre the kind of employees who can make your firm more successful.

I have a settlement agreement with them of which I have yet to receive a copy. These shiesty people are good at taking your money but don't stay true to their word for agreements. Will be glad to be done with them but until then will file a complaint with the Attorney general as well as the BBB to make sure they stay true to the settlement I agreed to!!

Every single person I spoke with was condescending, and had an arrogance about them. They āservedā me my papers at an address I havenāt lived at in over 10 years. On top of that, they over garnished me by $2,500 and now I am waiting going on 2 months now. Just like the IRS they take your money right away, but when they owe you money itās a long drawn out process!

There after me about a credit card that was stolen in my name and they want me to pay them when I have evidence of a credit card fraud and someone hacked my account and use it to buy thousand of dollars in gift cards and I never got any phone calls for suspicious activities and they want me to pay them when the case isn't even settled and I'm going to be suing them for the credit card company not responding to me
