GABRIEL CONROE is a unique man. The representation that he withholds for his clients is above and beyond what his duties call for. As a product of my environment I was always pushed aside and deemed an underdog my mental health and criminal activity spun out of control a lot of which I didn't know and which wasn't taught how to correct. Thank you Gabe and the specialty Court team for saving my life if I can help save another like you save mine I would do it all over again.

Mr Conroe has been a godsend in helping me as counsel on my case (15CF00486). I have used paid attorneys in the past, and while they did their job well, Gabe goes above and beyond as a Public Defender - a rare soul who actually cares about his clients well-being and quality of life while incarcerated, and making the transition back to society. I had a fairly high-profile case that made the Tribune and local Gurnee/Waukegan area papers. Gabe was absolutely fantastic, responsive and timely. He took time out of his busy schedule to visit me multiple times while I was incarcerated in Lake County Jail. He was also available to tie up probation issues with me after my release and while in drug treatment. HIGHLY recommended.

Mr. Conroe did not use an eyewitness for my defense that would have definately exonerated me...He did not think it was important to have the only witness for the prosecution impeached due to taking illegal hallucinogenic drugs... He did not disclose to me that he was still in training... He did not show any concern for the well being of his client...
