1. Stole $20,000 2. Failed to appear at nearly all court hearings. Instead, he has his son Robert Junior come in and fail repeatedly. I see why Robert Junior took several tries to pass the BAR exam. He's an idiot. 3. Took in excess of 12 months just to file a single motion to reduce my unconstitutional $1,000,000 bail on a 1st time non violent felony offense. That motion had zero legal arguments. No mention of the 8th Amendment, Illinois State Constitution, State Statutes, or Prevailing case law. In essence, my bail hearing was a sham. A first year law student would have received a "F" if they submitted such a motion or brief on behalf of a "client". 4. Failed to disclose conflicts of interest. 5. Refused and never filed a single motion to modify child support despite numerous and clear, significant changes of circumstances. 6. Refused to file any motions for me to speak with or see my children despite years of being kept apart. 7. Refused to file any contempt motions against my ex, Julia Patton who has abused our children through years of psychological and emotional abuse. 8. They talk a big game but they're going to protect their paychecks before they fight for you. 9. If they can sell you up the river in exchange for more favorable outcomes in other cases, they will. 10. They should be barred from ever setting foot in a courtroom on behalf of any person.

Bob is a vicious pit bull for an attorney. The white version of Johnny Cochran. He is a powerhouse and YES! He's that damn good.Bob is well known, highly regarded and respected, and has a lot of pull/clout in the Lake County courts. He springs into action and is GREAT when it comes to representing people.He's compassionate, caring,flexible and understanding.Most of all he'll work with ANYBODY regardless of income. BUT..... You must keep it REAL with him about EVERYTHING pertaining to your situation. He's a champion in ALL courts in Illinois.He helped me when no other attorney in Waukegan would. I still owe him but Mr. Ritacca is under standing and he'll work with you.Just don't blow smoke up his as because Bob is too damn smart.I don't care WHAT type of case you have, Mr. Ritacca does NOT care! He doesn't judge anybody. He does the job he's hired to do, and gets the job done. He is very direct with you, he has a lot of pull within the lake county court house, when i was in booking at the lake county jail i overheard the officers saying he wont be here long he has ritacca, at that point i felt so good about him. After it was all said and done i walked away not guilty of the charges against me thanks to this man. He is absolutely wonderful. This was in early 2000 so its been awhile but usually people get better and better as time goes on.

If you are looking for REAL TRUTH in the legal system, Mr. Ritacca is the man for the job. He had my SOS revocation/suspension issues dropped in court. At first I was skeptical, as I am with any attorney, but if you are up front with him and not hide anything, he is "hard core to the bone" and WILL FIGHT FOR YOU!!!
