Bill just got done representing a family member on a felony charge and did an outstanding job. This does not surprise me as he has represented numerous friends and acquaintance's over the last many years and routinely gets rave reviews as to not only the results, but also his professionalism in dealing with each case. William handled a felony charge I received in 2019 in DuPage. Looking back, my chances would have been far better off with another lawyer who was more connected in that county.
I say this because I've seen it happen with my boyfriend who was charged with a "more" severe felony offense for a second time. That lawyer was able to pull more strings for less money.
It was my mistake for not getting a lawyer in DuPage. I would recommend William for Traffic and DUI cases, but not too sure for other criminal cases. Just my experience overall.

If you actually committed a crime, this man will not help you at all. In fact, he will just talk badly about you after the case and get you convicted. He had another client (Who at the time was my the wife of my boss) tell me specific details about my case which only him and I spoke about. I lost my job at Reilly Installs because of that! There is no privacy with this lawyer and he's not there to help you 💯 If you would like a really good lawyer, his name is Jed Stone! He doesn't work for the State's Attorney like Mr. Margolin does!

In the rare instance that I receive a traffic ticket, Bill is the first person I call. I know I’m in excellent hands with him - he knows the traffic court system and takes his time to explain how things work and what to expect. He is highly respected. First rate defense attorney. Bill represented me on two occasions.
His familiarity with the Lake County justice system served me well on both occasions.
He listens and provides a realistic assessment of the facts of the case. He won't sugar coat it and fill you full of unrealistic expectations.
