A short time ago I made the decision to retain an attorney to file for back child support post divorce. When looking for an attorney I wanted to hire someone who was well respected within the McHenry County court system, someone who was experienced and exuded confidence. I reached out to several friends who have worked within the court system and the person they recommended was Angelo Mourelatos. I found Angelo to be a great communicator, compassionate and pragmatic. I also found him to be assertive and not aggressive. His strategy is well thought out and he definitely knows when the time is right to put on a little pressure. His office staff reflects the way he conducts business. They are kind, friendly, compassionate and always treat the client with the utmost care and sense of importance. I highly recommend retaining Angelo for your legal needs.

Angelo has gone above and beyond to help me with my post decree divorce representation. He is the first attorney I have worked with that I TRULY felt not only listened to me but heard and understood what I was feeling. Many attorneys are cold and hard- not Angelo, his compassion is par to none. He never comes across as bossy or “do as I say” you are honestly a team when you work with him- and you really do work with him to accomplish your end goal. His communication is phenomenal along with his staff. Vicki and Julie were also just as amazing. In the almost 2 years I’ve worked with them they have always been positive and encouraging. Absolute loved working with Victoria and Eric Vogel. They are very personable people. They were genuinely happy to handle all of the legal documents regarding the purchase of my home. They explained all of the paperwork and were in constant contact with me throughout the entire process. Victoria emailed me as soon as she had information for me or documents to sign and was always very responsive to my emails. Eric even called a few weeks before closing to personally introduce himself and told me what to expect in the coming weeks. When we got to closing, he was on time and waiting for me!! I was told that attorneys are sometimes late, but not him!! When we were done, I was like: “That’s it?!?!” They took care of EVERYTHING!! I will most certainly contact them again if I ever need law services in the future!! Thank you Eric and Victoria!!!!!

Let’s face it, divorce sucks. It’s not easy. Eric Vogel and team made it bearable. Mr. Vogel helped me understand the law, the divorce process, and always kept me up to date with what was happening. Mr. Vogel updated me in a very timely manner after a court hearing or phone call with my ex-husband’s lawyer. He took the time to explain everything and listen to me complain. Mr. Vogel is fair, follows the law, and responds quickly. Mr. Vogel makes you feel like you are his one and only client (which I know I wasn’t). I don’t have any experience with lawyers at all but if I ever need a lawyer for something other than divorce or estate planning, I will always compare other lawyers to Law Office of Vogel and Mourelatos, LLC!!! Let’s not forget the office staff! Vicki & Julie!! Wonderful! Wonderful!!! There are thousands of lawyers out there! I called several. The reason I chose Law Office of Vogel and Mourelatos is because my very first interaction with the office was so friendly and personable. The other lawyers I called, the office staff was dry and only cared about the consultation fee they needed up front. After a year and a half together with Vogel and Mourelatos (and staff) I feel more confident and comfortable with the way things turned out.
