I caused a car accident in 2015 and Michael professionally handled my case. He kept me updated on every step in the process and didn't give me empty promises. When he was not sure about an outcome, he would honestly inform me. I was pleased with his prompt responses via phone and e-mail even during off hours. He was always available to see me in person when I needed more reassurance about the case. He is very knowledgeable and has a calm, professional demeanor. Even a year after when I needed more help on my case, he was willing to assist me at no cost. I would highly recommend him.

I was cited for doing 57mph in a 30mph zone. Class B misdemeanor. I contacted Michael Young as a reference from a friend. He told me what he would present to the court in order to reduce the speed to a standard traffic citation and also ask for court supervision. That was exactly how it went. I walked out of court with a standard speeding citation and 6 months court supervision. Of course my clean driving record helped that! He was very up front with everything and was very personable. Michael Young came highly recommended when I was charged with a DUI. I have never been in trouble before and he was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process. Michael followed through on everything he said he would from the beginning.

Mr.Young got me 6 months supervision and a $500 fine. After getting caught twice within 30 days driving on a revoked. Now after the supervision is done I will be able to get my license back. I got caught driving on a suspended DL for the second time coming home from work. I was facing a felony charge a year in prison and all the that come with that. Michael J Young discovered that my lawyer on my previous case basically did nothing for me except take my money and that the IL Sec of State made errors on my drivers abstract that affected my driving status. He came up with a battle plan and delivered. He fought the IL Sec of State and got me my DL back when I wasn't supposed to get it back until 2019 and saved my life. We met at his office he was pleasant he was honest well spoken and friendly. I felt he wasn't feeding me BS. The second time I went to his office he even let me play his pinball machine to entertain my 18 mouth old son. HE IS THE BEST. Every time I went to court I felt like I was with the smartest person in the room. Getting my DL back lifted an incredible weight off my soul it was and unbelievable feeling when it happen. Nothing else to say other than what a miracle worker! Was charged with battery, assault, and trespassing on a off duty police officer. Michael Young pulled out all the stops and from what looked like a losing case, he went to trial with me and not only did he get all charges dropped I didn't have to testify and the judge called out this off duty police officer and embarrassed him in front of the whole court room. Can't thank him enough for being such a professional, honest and up front just tell it like it is approach, and especially ALL charges dropped! Would recommend Michael Young's services to all!

I hired Michael Young to fight against a summary suspension and DUI. He successfully beat both. I am extremely pleased. He clearly has the knowledge and experience. He is very available to reach personally and great about returning phone calls. He did worry me a little with his extreme optimism, but as it turned out, he was right, and he knew it. When it was his turn during trial to present the case, he ripped apart the prosecution's case. He put on a clinic in the courtroom. It was actually quite entertaining to witness despite the situation I was in. He is clearly the right attorney for a DUI case. My only negative was his tardiness, but this is not a reason not to hire him. I'm sure he juggles many cases as most attorneys probably do, but he obviously knows the system well enough that it doesn't matter. He knows the system, he knows the law, and he knows how to get results. He has a fighting attitude and says that he will do whatever it takes and will schedule as many court dates as it takes to get a win. 10/10 would hire/recommend again.

Michael J. Young is the best lawyer I could have possibly hired. I went to a previous lawyer initially and wasn't satisfied so I stopped by Michael's office to speak with him face to face. I knew he was the right criminal defense lawyer for me the minute we began talking. He is so knowledgable and made me feel comfortable throughout my entire case. What I love most about Michael is that he does not give up on a fight in the court room. I had gotten a DUI and plead guilty but Michael still filed a Motion to Quash because he does not give up on a case. With his expertise, my court costs dropped significantly and 2 of my 3 charges have been dropped! I expected to pay a hefty fine but Michael was able to convince the judge to lower the cost of the DUI charge. I highly recommend hiring Michael Young if you want to feel safe during your DUI case from start to finish. I do not have a single complaint for his hard work and expertise in criminal defense.
