Andy is quickly able to pick up and go to work with tricky/sticky dynamics. His 30+ years experience shines in the conference room, courtroom and in private conversations. Much of deliberation is emotionally based and Andy has a VERY high emotional intelligence combined with diplomacy and legal experience. It was a true pleasure and my privilege to watch him in action as he implemented strategies and worked to move a 'stuck' process forward. He also showed encouraging leadership to the opposing team. You must see for yourself and put him on your 'go to list'!

Andy was so thorough about explaining the process when we met for our first consultation. He knows his stuff well and was so clear about all the details. He's a nice guy, but I knew he would also support me 100% and be an aggressive lawyer if need be.

I was Pro Se with my case and issues of right of first refusal. Andrew was assigned to our case with my twins and he excelled in meeting our families needs. Most attorneys I’ve dealt with in the past don’t take the time to really get to know the family dynamics in the small time frame they are given. Andrew did just the opposite. In all of our correspondence and meetings, with my children as well, Andrew took such intricate care with all the details concerning our family and I highly recommend his services to those who are looking for an honest, fair and upstanding person to handle their family affairs during or after divorce.

Andy Cores' team is outstanding. My case was very stressful on the kids and me, but I always drew comfort from knowing that the legal issues were in good hands. Andy is the best, but not the least expensive. There are lower cost divorce lawyers but that's not the point. In Illinois, if the other side of the divorce spends less than your side, they have to pay part of your lawyer's bill. Pretty sweet, and it makes for an easy decision to hire the best lawyer you can find. Andy has handled all of my divorce/custody/child support/maintenance issues since the day of our initial consultation.

Andy is an OK lawyer but he really does not show any interest in the human side of the clients, you are just another case number. He was little or not prepared for the meetings with the other lawyers reading the papers for the first time during the meeting, did not discussed any strategies, he assumes he knows what to do and does not feel the need to consult you let alone inform you. As a negotiator he was bipolar, either disconnected or overly aggressive. I am sure he knows his trade but he forgets who is paying the bills.

Everyone at EKCM is wonderful! Very personable, they understand what you are going thru and made the entire process so much easier than I thought it would be. Between Andy, Wendy, Matt, and of course Toni, theytook so much stress away when I though I gotten to the end of my rope. My Ex caused several delays, and various problems, right down to the end. They keep you updated frequently, and explain all options, even some you may not want to hear. They have a great team there!

My wife's attorney was pushing me around until Andy Cores entered my case. He quickly negotiated a VERY favorable parenting schedule. When she refused to be reasonable on financial matters, we prepared for trial. When the day came, Andy was ready, she was not, and I got everything I asked for.

Andy and his legal team were wonderful work with. When initiating the divorce proceeding, they thoroughly explained several options based on my situation, including mediation and collaborative law. The attorneys and support staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable, and I would strongly recommend Andy and his team to anyone going through a separation or divorce. They were very understanding and supportive when dealing with the stress and emotional roller coaster of a divorce, child custody, financial settlements, etc. The terms of the Joint Parenting Agreement and Marital Settlement Agreement were explained in great detail and I truly felt a part of every decision.

If you want a lawyer to seek revenge this is not your guy. Andy will watch what you spend and always tell you the truth even if you dont like it. He is very good and honest ...which is rare in this business. Knows the system and wont waste your money. Very Smart and his staff is is the best.
