IFC is really about making dreams come true. My wife and I had a cumulative nightmare once we realized we were in love and wanted to marry and spend the rest of our lives together, but had no idea how we were going to navigate through all the nuances of the immigration process coming into the US. IFC took that nightmare and all of it's anxiety away like a magic spell. They took the time to get to know us, our case, and explored all our options, then made it simple for us to take the steps necessary to work through the process. I can't imagine having done this any other way and would highly suggest anyone else in a similar situation to look their way. They will do right by you and your relationship. My fiancé and I paid them to do our service and we didn't have good experiences. Until our interview, my fiancé had already paid over $3000 thousand dollars. Our lawsuit changed lawyers three times and my fiancé had to explain to this new professional every time how our lawsuit was going. Between them, no information was shared. In addition to being EXTREMELY expensive, they are charging over $2000 for just the 30 minutes we spent with the attorney. When my case was approved by USCIS, they didn't notify me. I knew because I was always following the case. When my case was at NVC, I needed to schedule my interview and exams. Anyway, my case was approved at the consulate in my country, because my fiancé refused to pay this amount, we have not received any congratulations to this day. In other words, apart from half-quality service, they don't care much about what you're going through until your case is approved. They just want money.

The team at Immigration for Couples has been nothing but amazing. Navigating the immigration journey with your partner can put a major strain on your relationship, and I appreciate the ability to fully focus on our love and having the IFC team take the driver's seat. What I appreciate the most is frequent, concise, and responsive updates from the team. While my partner and I are early in the application process, I feel more at ease with the long wait knowing we have a team behind us. I will say, their services is a good investment; but I encourage you to think of it like an investment with a good return - reuniting with your loved one is stressful. Unorganized. Plenty of knowledgeable lawyers. In fact we were given 3 different lawyers. And 4 different assistants to work our case. As you can imagine this displays an unorganized firm and you will be the one who pays for the multiple emails clarifying the same thing to all of them.

This firm did what they said and got my fiancé and I an approval on our visa! The reason I am not leaving 5 stars is because of the cost and the employee turn around at this firm. Firstly the price per hour was increased drastically half way into working with this firm and I felt as though at times information was left out purposely in emails or unnecessary emails were sent to me in order to get “conferred with client pay.” Secondly the person on my case changed three times and although I’m no longer working with them I received an email that my attorney has also quit… I didn’t like this because I felt as though my information was not being passed along to the next person correctly. Further proving this to be true when we had PAGES of another couples private text conversations in our visa packet… This company does what they say for sure but I just did not feel the cost was equal to the work done and that if I could have definitely done the process without them and saved myself some money and headache.

This place is pay as you go. So there no “limit” to how much they will charge you. If you have a straightforward case I wouldn’t recommend this place. I wished we never started here to begin with.

Helpful and responsive

Different things made our case very complicated, but thankfully the team at IFC was always there to help, looking for ways to overcome the different obstacles we were facing along the way. On top of that, they were always there to help when we had questions or when new policies and events were happening.

Please stay away! I promise you will regret it. I waited almost two years for my wife’s visa interview & today NVC told me that they previously notified me about the interview and they had to cancel my appointment. Corado Pastranna law firm never notified me about the interview. I only found out when I withdrew my case from them. Wow. They charged me $5,944.45 just for filling out the I-130 application & checking my case status. My case has been documentarily complete since August of last year, yet they still wanted to charge me for document processing, communication and checking the case status. I think this is very unreasonable & I had to withdraw my case & find a better law firm. Right now, I am in contact with NCV to find out when the first notification for the interview was sent. I really hope that the Corado Pastranna law firm did not failed to inform me of the interview because they wanted to keep charging me for document processing.
