Divorce is a very difficult process especially when children are involved. JR made this process as seamless as possible. He was very straight forward and presented the facts which I very much appreciated. JR was very responsive both by email and phone. I was able to receive a favorable outcome that included more parenting time with my girls. Thanks JR!

Would leave negative stars if possible. I’ve waited two years to write my review because I didn’t want to write while worked up about the experience. Want a TLDR? DON’T USE THIS MAN! This was the worst experience I have ever had with any business or human ever. They seemed so nice and like they wanted to help me (child custody- I am the custodial parent). Told me that for a mediation I really needed a lawyer. I took out a $3,000 loan to cover the initial fee. We had one meeting to discuss what was going on. He said he could certainly help me. We go to meditation in November of 2021. When the mediator would mention things I would tell the lawyer I didn’t like that, or voiced my opinion, he told me that I needed to tell the mediator. ( because like, what did I hire this man for anyways?) If I disagreed with anything the other party brought up I was simply told, ‘well, we can go to court and you can spend more money then.’ He also told me that this was pretty much my payback for having a child with someone like my sons dad. It was very obvious that he was on the side of the father, and saw a mother who was willing to do anything to protect her child and took advantage of it. Months later when I wanted to file contempt because the other side was not complying with the order in place, I reached back out to Emerson law as they had represented me for the earlier case. He told me that I could file contempt without a lawyer and to just take it to the court house. Which I did. However in their low level of competence at the court house, they scanned my papers in incorrectly, and I just gave up. Here we are two years later and I’m still paying off the loan I had to get for his insane fees, and believe even less in the justice system ☺️

If you need an attorney of record, JR is your guy. If you actually need something done, look elsewhere. He will take large amounts of your money and sit quietly; literally a mute in court. The opposing counsel wiped the floor with him. He will cower in the face of opposition until you admit defeat. He cost us big on all fronts!

JR is informative and helpful lawyer. He provides me with insightful information about my case. Definitely recommend him.

Shock Jock radio host how blocks any reasonable opposition to his radical posts. Not a great attribute of intellectual capacity for an “attorney” but great for a coward.

Listen to his show all the time! Love his down to earth attitude an willingness to help fellow Hoosiers learn gun laws and to protect our 2A rights!
