We had a drainage easement imposed on our land and received an offer from the county representative. Although this was not a large sum of money involved, I had no experience in this and didn’t know if the offer was reasonable. With his suggestions, I was able to negotiate an increase in the offer from the county. Although our situation didn’t warrant them taking us on as a client, it was well worth the call and time to be sure we were being treated fairly by the county.
