Courtney is an amazing attorney!! Honestly the best one in lake and porter county area. She went above and beyond with my case. She is extremely professional and passionate about helping families and it truly shows though in her work, whether it’s reuniting a child with their parent to strengthen their relationship or removing a child from dangerous situations. She has an amazing work ethic , she was always early for court, on time for appointments and responds to emails in a prompt timely manner and even well after business hours if needed. She definitely has a way with words in a court room and knows just when to say certain things or when to the other person speak. She can definitely be a pit bull when needed and she is not easily pushed around. She is extremely understanding and totally nonjudgmental durning difficult times and truly tries to help her clients become the best they can be. I highly recommend her!! She will not disappoint!!

Barbara is a real person who deals with the stickiness of family law in a real way for real families. So much of what I have experienced from the family court system has been a lot of formalities that seem out of touch and more about who plays the game best rather than what is actually in the best interest of children. That is NOT the case with Barbara- she actually listens, gets to the roots of things, and she will tell you when you're right and tell you when you're wrong because I feel she genuinely does want to see the right things happen for your child. That kind of transparency and solution-based-mindedness is a breath of fresh air in what can be very difficult circumstances.
