A year ago, I found myself in a very difficult situation; Marion County wrongfully sold the deed to my Indianapolis home at a tax auction. Leaving me in a hopeless situation. After speaking with Attorney Julie Camden for 30 minutes, maybe less? She was able to come up with a basis/solution to have the deed returned to me. The whole case was quite the process, which seems to be a standard for most legal issues. But Attorney Camden navigated this case with poise and grace. Attorney Julie Camden has represented me for over four years, in two cases. First, an extremely contentious divorce case that began in 2015 and is still ongoing. I am not even one of the two primary parties, but Julie has been invaluable in helping us navigate this case and get an outcome that is less one-sided in favor of the other party. The second case has been a nightmare in civil court - we’ve been dealing with this case for almost four years. Julie stepped in last year when things went off the rails. Julie is spectacular at questioning witnesses under oath and showing the Court the truth. She has also successfully helped us negotiate settlements out of court when the other party violates the settlement agreement. And she is very skilled at handling communications from irrational people so we don’t have to. She is also very honest with us about predicted outcomes so we don’t have false hopes. We trust her implicitly. Julie has also created our Living Wills for us. They are iron-clad and we have no doubt that the people we specifically disinherited by name will not be able to overturn our wishes in probate court after we are gone. Bonus: Julie is a huge dog lover, as we are. Dogs recognize the “good people,” and our dogs have given Julie the Doggo Seal of Approval!
