Short Review (Long Review later): Just hire her. Just do it. She takes your problems and makes them her problems and then she solves them with you. She is a no-nonsense professional that will not blow wind up your skirt to give you false hopes. She will give it to you straight, offer you advice, and then stridently represent you and your interests. Long Review: I hired Julie for a family law case. I had 3 different attorneys over 7 years, and they all could not achieve what Julie did. Speaking with others on the exact issues of the case, people kept asking me why things were still the same? Why have these problems not been fixed? Why is the court continuing to allow these things to happen? Well – they’re because I had not hired Julie Camden yet! In just over 4 months she got things accomplished that I only dared to believe were possible. Julie assessed the situation, the attorneys, the judge, the guardian ad litem, the parenting coordinator, and advised a best course of action. That course of action was not always what I would have imagined, but it all worked out! I did not get a temporary fix – I got a permanent fix. The solution that the court has ordered is the best for the children. And the solution is also the best for me too (and I would argue my ex-wife as well). She argued coherently and truthfully…and did not let the other side play the victim effectively, which had been done in the past. She was logical, organized, and got many points presented to the court that I was unable to show earlier. I could go on and on – but I would not hesitate one second to hire her again. She also does not try to get extra fees. Julie takes her client seriously, as well as that client's expenses!

I hired Julie Camden to represent me in my divorce case after having horrible representation by another lawyer. 4 QDROS (transfer of retirement assets) were to be done between my ex wife's lawyer and my original lawyer within 90 days. Julie took over (after 4 years of failure to complete this work) and was able complete the transfer through litigation! My only regret is not hiring her from the start of my divorce.

Julie represented me in a divorce and based on my experience I did not get the best of Julie. I was extremely dissatisfied. I would not recommend Julie to represent you in a divorce.

I will not editorialize and leave you to your assessment. I work for a large, enterprise company. RocketLawyer is a benefit we receive. On a Sunday, I queried RocketLawyer for a divorce attorney recommendation in Indianapolis or Carmel, IN. The namesake for the Camden part of Camden & Meridew responded saying she could address my needs. I messaged back and said I would call the following day. 10 minutes later, she's calling my cell phone. We talked for a moment and she pulled up my divorce decree from a database of some sort -- she observed nothing aside from its page count and then cut me off in mid-sentence and transferred me to her paralegal Dan. Dan and I scheduled an appointment for two days later (Wednesday). At the time of the appointment on Wednesday, Jordan, an admin., called and said Ms. Camden was running behind, but did I know that I would need to pay for this time? The hourly billing rate is $295 and they could take payment of half for a 30 minute consult. I explained that my Monday morning conversation (which totaled maybe 2 minutes or less and was essentially a cold call to me in which nothing was discussed regarding my need), was not a consultation and more of her qualifying me. Payment was necessary, however to get the lawyer on the phone because I had already had my consultation. It was a disappointing experience. I have been in technology consulting for 25 years. I well know that time is money. And, I also know that trust is earned. Those two two items may be in conflict with each other at Camden & Meridew. What the lawyer in question doesn't realize is that her abruptness and money grabbing for 30 minutes of time is a fantastic turn-off to a white collar professional who has enough education and experience to know when he's being taken for a ride.

I can't say enough good things about Julie. My husband called on Tuesday, had an appointment Thursday afternoon, and by Friday morning our tax worries were gone! I realize not everyone has an issue that can be handled so quickly, but she started working for us minute one of the consultation and was extremely professional. She handled our case faster than we could get a return call/email from other places. Highly recommend. Thank you so much Julie!

Julie Camden handled an IRS issue that came up and I was thrilled with the results. The outcome of the issue was far more favorable than I had expected.

I retained Julie to handle the adoption of my daughter. From the moment that we contacted her, she was able to meet with us the same day, due to our time sensitive and urgent circumstances, and had begun the process of drafting the paperwork for filing almost immediately. She was so knowledgeable of the process, and so in tune with us the whole time. She knew the minute details of our case, understood the urgency of our situation, and fought tooth and nail for not only us, but for our daughter's well being, safety and happiness. She represented us at every level, Trial Court, Appellate Court, and Supreme Court. I cannot say enough good things about Julie and her firm. I highly recommend Julie to anyone that is seeking help with an adoption!
