A horrible lawyer

I paid Jon Olinger a retainer fee of $2692 to represent my son in a child custody case. I was the "billing contact" ONLY according to the contract. I never received a bill although I asked several times (not that I feel Jon Olinger deserved another penny, I actually believe he owes a refund). There was little to no progress in my son's case. Jon Olinger made promises during the consultation he couldn't keep, such as this case would be over in 3-4 months. Needless to say, my son hired him in December. The communication in this law office is terrible and I believe goes against ethical practice (attorney-client confidentiality). This law firm would NEVER return my son, their client, telephone calls related to his case. I finally received ONE bill after Jon Olinger gave my son's entire case file to me (without my son knowledge, without me showing any identification or even signing for the case file). The charges on the bill are false/inaccurate which is why I believe I never received a bill prior. I'm currently in the process of asking for an investigation to be launch against this law office. Jon file a motion to have himself remove from the case (once he drain all the retainer fee). He abandoned my son, his client, without any legal representation and without any money to obtain another attorney. LOWDOWN and DIRTY

Jon and Amber were absolutely amazing through my whole divorce and custody process. They were attentive, explained & reassured every detail to me. Even with me in another state they made sure everything was taken care of. Jon is very aggressive in fighting for what is right! Jon has a genuine heart for helping others & that is rare to find these days. You can definitely point him out in a court room. His front desk gal was always attentive and kind as well! You guys are awesome!

In a court room full of people, you will easily be able to find Jon. He has the biggest heart and most caring demeanor. He helped my daughter by not just handling her like a “case”. He saw a young girl facing an F4, and asked why… and got to the root of the issue, and helped her get the resources she needs to treat addiction. He hit the nail on the head, sometimes addiction starts with mental health. We can’t treat addiction without treating what’s caused the addiction. He’s done a phenomenal job. He helped her face these charges by advocating for treatment to be apart of her sentence. I’m very thankful my daughter had his huge heart fighting for her.

Jon and his associates are the BEST in FORT WAYNE, INDIANA they were very kind to me at the very beginning they spoke the truth to me and told me everything that was going to happen with my divorce everything was true and with covid going on it took a little bit of time which I understood with the courts being closed at times I am very thankful for him and he got me what I was asking for. I really appreciate everything you've done for me Jon and your team thank you very much sir.
