Hugo Rojas of Scott D. Pollock & Associates, P.C. is the immigration lawyer who assisted me. He helped my company in preparing the documents for the border in achieving my TN-Visa. He also helped in preparing the documents in applying to the US Dept. of Labor for sponsorship. Everything went fine for he knows the stages/ process and all the legalities needed by the USCIS. When the we apply for the adjustment of status, he also prepared the application for the EAD/ Advance Parole so that I could go in and out of the US. Everything is smooth and easy because he checks and advise the necessary documents before submitting the USCIS Forms. Finally, I got my green card without any interview.

I worked with Christina Murdoch and her Assistant Jessica Murguia for my I-485 case, which was pending for almost twenty months and Christina and her team helped me file a complaint to expedite it. So, we messed up our Removal of Conditions application and received the dreaded RFE. When we put that application together it was very last minute and rushed because I procrastinated. Anything to do with USCIS stresses me out and I tend to bury my head in the sand. I decided to retain a lawyer as I didn't want to mess up again for the RFE. I shopped around for a bit. When I consulted with another lawyer that was highly recommended to us by a friend, he offered an affordable flat rate fee but he had made me feel like there was a good chance we wouldn't get approved because of circumstances that don't fit the mold of a traditional marriage. e.g. we don't file our taxes jointly, and I'm not on the deed of our condo. That consultation left me feeling nervous and had me catastrophizing future scenarios where I would get deported, my wife would only be able to visit me once a year resulting in the deterioration and ruin of our marriage, my dog would have to remain in the states because I would never risk him dying in cargo on a 20 hour plane ride, that I would never get to hug most of my friends and family again etc, etc. After that consultation I had one set up with Scott who was highly recommended to me by a lawyer I work with at my work. This phone call was vastly different. We went over the same issues as the other lawyer but he made it seem like these were just small hurdles and as long as we could explain them, then USCIS would be satisfied. Christina Murdoch and her assistant Araceli were assigned to my file. I couldn't be happier with the service and quality of work I received from them. They were both super professional, extremely responsive and patient with me. Once again, my anxiety got the best of me and I stuck my head in the sand. Thankfully, Araceli checked one me often and nudged me along the way in a pleasant manner. With my wife's help, we were able to send over our evidence to Christina and Araceli a month before the USCIS deadline (totally unheard of from me who waits until the very last minute for everything!). The file they compiled for us was thorough and well put together. It was overnighted to USCIS and seven days later we found out our file was approved! And another week later my green card was delivered. In short, I highly recommend this firm and I'm so thankful to Christina and Araceli for all of their work, patience and kindness.

Hugo was very professional throughout the process of my family and i receiving our Permanent Residence. Hugo is very experienced in his field. There were times during the process where we were unsure of the outcome but Hugo's calming presence was always there to make us feel positive about the end result.
