I called Shawn McKenna’s office for my divorce case. He was reachable, responsive, and offered a long, free consultation. I called him the next day to book a paid consultation. He said he doesn’t think he is the right attorney and firm for my case, which is HUGE because I have been burned before by attorneys taking on or continuing cases to make money even though it was not right for them to do so. I think he is client-centered and cost-conscious and not fee-driven and exploitative. Furthermore, as a senior attorney, he assessed the opposing party’s attorney and the case to give me recommendations on what type of law firm would be a better fit for me. And I think he directed me in a direction to look for the correct type of firm and attorney for my case and make better educated decisions. If he is comfortable taking your case, I believe he could be a very good candidate for hiring as an attorney.
