Unprofessional and wont contact you to tell you anything. I found out more info through the person i was taking to court rather than my own counsel. 2700 dollars into a 5600 dollar case and they dropped my case. Good luck with this office!

Mr. Lewis and his staff did an excellent job with our case. My husband and I had been stressing out due to the public defender we had who just encouraged us to take a plea. David took the time to review the case, Looked over evidence and fought for us. He was able to get our case dismissed and we could not be happier with the outcome! Thank you so much to everyone at Mr. Lewis' office for assisting with our case and keeping us in the loop as to what was going on. It took away a lot of the anxiety in an already stressful situation.

WARNING! WARNING!!! WARNING!!!!! Do NOT trust this man with anything important. He blatantly lied to my wife and I about an important detail that cost us dearly. The judge also "reprimanded" him for not showing up to our court date twice and questioned his honesty. He does little work on your case and still expects money. I've never been so disappointed with a service I have paid for from anyone. We have started our search for legal malpractice representation regarding this. But please, DO YOURSELF a BIG FAVOR and check around. I wish I had known this prior to deciding to work with this law office. ***************PLEASE KNOW THAT***************** If you do decide to work with him and his office, ALWAYS make sure everything is emailed to you. Don't just call and assume you were told the truth. Some people don't have your best interest in mind and you will be viewed as an obstacle to navigate around as quickly as possible. Question anything and everything. Make sure anything you're told during a call gets emailed to you from their office as proof in case you need it later! I'm grateful my wife knew to do this from the beginning. ****MAKE OFFICE EMAIL THEIR PLAN, IDEAS, PLEA DEALS********* ***HAVE THEM EXPLAIN PLEA IN THEIR OWN TEXT not by PHONE**** If you think something sounds off and not right, call another lawyers office and inquire as to it's accuracy. ABOVE all remember that if you have a question about something, make sure that you ask the judge during court. They record the whole conversation. The judge is supposed to be there to assist. When your life is in the hands of someone you cant trust, check with someone else Had we not known to be sure to get and keep correspondance, our outcome would have been not so good. The one positive thing was that the office ladies were always nice. Though one secretary also lied to us. Most likely because she was told to. If after reading this you decide to work with him. Remember that you were warned about him and his shady attorney skills. I hope this helps someone avoid this mistake. Every case in court is either won or loss and isn't going to always be perfect, but lying to your client blatantly is the cut off point. And to Mr. Lewis, I am extremely upset with how you handled our case. Honestly, the only expectation I had was that you would be honest. Not that you would be an amazing attorney or that you'd have won 100% of your cases. I thought at the least, I would not be lied to. Your clients NEED and want a professional that is prepared to be honest and trustworthy. Thats not too much to ask. Especially in a time that is already chaotic and out of control for your client. I decided to give your office a chance because of our limited resources at the time and I do regret it. Being honest is a skill that can take a lifetime to cultivate. I am sure being a lawyer can be stressful, but I hope in the future that can just imagine your son or daughter as the defendant and provide helpful, relevant and honest information to them to help their stress level. The last thing they should be worried about is if their attorney is being honest with them. Surely you would be very upset if the same thing happened to one of them. I hope you are aware that this tactic is out in the open now and all will be watching and questioning. I hope you have better experiences in life than I have had with you and your lawyer skills. DM
