Having never gone through the court system before, I was extremely overwhelmed when I initiated two protective orders. After careful consideration, I decided to hire an attorney. I found the process of finding a lawyer to be extremely stressful, as I wouldn't get calls back or would talk to an assistant, never with an actual attorney. As soon as I connected with Dina, she put me at immediate ease. My first impressions of her were that she is very confident, knowledgeable, experienced, and detail oriented. She demonstrated high integrity and humility by not agreeing to accept my cases until she was confident she could help. She always was exceptionally open and transparent with me throughout the entire process. She spoke in terms that I understood, which was very much appreciated. I contacted Ms. Lozano because she had represented my son as a public defender. Being from out of state, I did not know who to turn to, but I knew that years ago, she treated my son with respect and gave him the representation that he needed. I needed Ms Lozano to go to court and have a charge dismissed, to have a charge recalled from a national data base, talk to the prosecutor and work with DOC from another state.
