Luckily, a defense attorney is not someone I have much experience with. I am an Arizona resident who was on vacation in Indiana with my family and I got pulled over for a "ticky-tacky" traffic infraction by an overzealous Montgomery County sheriff's deputy (I think trying to make his 'quota'). I was not driving unsafely, and after having a clean driving record for many years, this infraction if I had been found responsible, could have been serious, expensive, and had a negative impact on my insurance rates. I did not feel I deserved the ticket and reached out to LegalShield for help. They hooked me up with Attorney Blake Dahl. Mr Dahl did his research on the infraction and correctly argued in court that per how this particular traffic law is written, I did not commit the infraction for which I was cited. The Montgomery County Superior Court judge agreed and dismissed the ticket. I didn't think I had much chance at success and was prepared to be disappointed by the outcome. Blake was a presenter at a Criminal defense seminar I attended. He gave an incredible overview of the expungement process in Indiana, and went into great detail. I have handled expungements for 10 years....but it can still be confusing and it is very detail sensitive. Additionally, there are new opportunities developing every year. I was having issues verifying complete criminal histories of my clients and reached out to Blake for advice. He was very helpful. I reference the materials he provided as well.
