I had the great pleasure of working with Heidi Kendall-Sage, who was able to win disability benefits for my son. I had tried to secure these benefits for my son on my own, but despite long hours of tireless work, he had already been denied these benefits twice. This was a very complicated case and, in addition to Heidi Kendall-Sage handling the social security part, Heidi was able to connect me with a medicaid lawyer to ensure that these issues were also addressed and solved. Heidi was quick to respond to my frequent questions involving the case and was able to navigate the system to progress the case, when I had been unable to do so myself. She was knowledgeable about the entire sequence and made it look effortless. Heidi also informed my son and I on what we should expect during our appearance before the judge, so there were no surprises or unnecessary anxiety. We had an extremely positive experience, not only with Heidi, but also with the support staff at her office, as well. I appreciate that I took my friend's advice to reach out to Heidi, when I was hitting metaphoric brick walls with the disability system. I wish I had contacted her much earlier.
