Great customer service, very knowledgeable, pleasant, helped calm my fears and walked me through the whole process, so thankful for Amanda, Dan Schmidt, and the wonderful receptionist Angie…. I would recommend their services any day.

They are very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help my husband an myself navigate out bankruptcy journey. They have been there to help every step of the way and if we have any questions they are always there to answer our questions. They go above and beyond for their clients and it's a huge help when you don't know the next steps. Amanda has been amazing.

I really never write reviews, but this situation calls for it. Attorney Whitten and the Office Manager Amanda went above and beyond for me many times. When I filed my bankruptcy, Amanda worked with another attorney who then retired. It was a huge relief to me that Amanda would still be in the office working with other attorneys because she knows everything about bankruptcy inside and out. I always knew if I had a question or problem, she was going to jump in and help me. Given that my original attorney retired, Attorney Whitten stepped in and went way beyond to help me out in a situation in which he was not obliged to do so. This being written by someone who works with a retired judge and four attorneys (who don't handle bankruptcies), is high praise. Without their help, I would have lost my home, and that's the bottom line. Without their help, my kids would have to move schools. Without their help, I don't know what I would have done. If you're feeling desperate about your financial situation, bankruptcy is help and relief for you. Don't mess around with any other firm. Dan Whitten and Amanda do their jobs exceptionally well.

Very unprofessional, Attorneys never reach out to speak to you the 2 months I've been working woth this law firm filing my chapter 7 I've been only interacting with the front desk receptionist. When i had my hearing with the treasurer he made it seem as if i hadn't reported my income to the attorney and the attorney didn't say anything,(which she wouldn't because she never contacted me to discuss my case) I had to speak up to the treasurer to let it be know that i wasn't hiding income. Attorney sent me information last minute like right as i was going on the conference call for my case which i didn't get a chance to confirm before had and i was suppose to been contacted from the secretary about this matter and of coarse no one every called, very unprofessional especially because every thing i said i would do i delivered and in return this law firm has made me look stupid, If i would have know this i would have waiting to move to Illinois and filed my bankruptcy with a know law firm my family and friends have used for years, when i originally wanted to file there was a different attorney who had since passed away that was originally over this law firm but i still decided to file with this company thinking the professionalism would remain intact but indeed that should have been a sign to go somewhere else. I won't be handling any more or my business in Indiana when u cant seem to get professionalism even when your paying for it smfh.

Speaking with a 20+ year relationship with Kevin Schmidt and his staff, there is no other place I would suggest someone call if they had questions or concerns about the bankruptcy process. This office is judgement free and provide a comfortable understanding about the difficulty of this process. These amazing people will help you through some of the hardest times of life, you will be happy you called.

I would recommend them to anyone, Kevin, Nicole and Angie are the best. All my questions were answered effortlessly. I had no idea what to expect but I can honestly say that Nicole has made this journey less stressful for me. Her and Kevin explained things as they were or about to happen. After not getting anywhere with other attorneys, I called and Kevin was willing to take my case and explained how everything was going to go from beginning to end. If I didn’t understand something or had questions Nicole was right there to give me the answers.

I went to him for a small claims court issue, and he told me I needed to pay 999 dollars and it would be settled, he only paid half of that to my issue and kept the rest for himself, and never told me I owed him anything. If he would have told me I needed to pay a fee to him, I would have paid him and my full balance to the issue. But he never once told me about a payment to him.!
