Amazing!

Whoever picked up the phone did NOT want to take my call. His only interest was trying to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. This after being a bit nervous reaching out to a lawyer to begin with about a sensitive matter. This sort of ruined my morning. I'm telling the referral service that pointed me to them to STOP recommeding these guys, and this is my advice to anyone else reading this: Find someone else who will treat you with respect.

They did my simple will for an excellent price. The staff was more than helpful and Laurie Johnson, my attorney, was very attentive.

Tim Hixson is hands down the best criminal defense attorney I have ever had. He was appointed my public defender. He always returned my phone calls the same day (there were many). He always answered my emails within one business day. He negotiated a plea bargain that even probation and community corrections were impressed with. If you are able to hire him, consider yourself lucky.

I have had the pleasure of having Eric Benner and Laurie Johnson assist me when I was in need of an attorney. I highly recommend them both. Their professionalism and ability to speak so that I was not overwhelmed helped in putting me at ease.

I'm a person that never writes reviews EVER. SO in order to save yourself time and money, I would recommend not using Eric J Benner for anything. I can't speak for the other Attorney's but he's awful. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing. This guy was representing me in a family law case Hired him back in October. He talked a good game to get my money and did nothing more than continue every hearing that I had. I was just supposed to be in court 3-3-2021. He had is Paralegal Veronica call me the day before court asking for all these documents that Should've been requested months ago. Then the day of my hearing Eric cancelled my hearing again for the 6th time. He cancelled for his own personal reason then lied and told me a different reason. He's very unprofessional and waits until the last minute to do things then he makes it seems like he's not the issue. I almost feel as if he should be a prosecutor and not a lawyer. He drafted up this invoice which consisted of him charging me for emails and multiple continuances that he filed. I gave him all information needed and he pretends as if I didn't. On the surface he seems to be a guy that cares about doing his job and helping people but once he gets your money that goes out the window. So unless you have money and time to throw away I suggest you run the other way. And I would have given 0 stars but in order to leave a review you have to give at least 1 star.

Alicia Adcock is a phenomenal family law attorney. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone in need of counsel. She is well versed in family law and GAL services. She is not only kind hearted, but can be a “pit bull” when the need arises. I use “pit bull” lightly, as I own a pit bull and he is the furthest thing from aggressive, but you get the picture. She is easy to work with and she makes you feel comfortable, which is hard enough when you’re dealing with situations that require an attorney in the first place. I can’t thank her enough. Choosing an attorney is hard and there are so many out there. I feel writing this review should help at least one person reading it to make the right choice in calling this firm and asking for a meeting with Alicia.
