I used Mr. Kopatich in a child custody case. He was fantastic. Answered all of my questions, gave me up front info when I needed to understand something, not just what I wanted to hear. During mediation, he did a fantastic job at getting me the time I need and want with my child.

I was going through a very hostile custody battle. I am Military and was having a hard time finding an attorney that wasn't outrageously priced and would work with me from a distance, being I was stationed in D.C. I had been divorced prior and needed attorneys to help me with cases before Mr. Kopatich, so I had an idea of how they worked. However, Mr. Kopatich GREATLY exceeded all of my expectations. He put my case first, dedicating himself to getting me the best outcome possible instead of heckling over how close my retainer was to running out. Throughout the whole case he was very personable and respectful, treating me like a person, not just a paycheck. He was prompt in responding to my emails and always had time for a phone conference in order to ease my mind in a time of crisis in my life. The way he treated me in person filtered over to how he handled my case. Mr. Kopatich took my demands and would not settle for anything less than what I was entitled to. Overall, Mr. Kopatich is a great person and an amazing attorney. His knowledge and guidance through this difficult time was very helpful. I would recommend this attorney over any attorney in the area. Prior to Mr. Kopatich, I had hired 5 different attorneys in the area, none of which fought for me like he did, not get the results I wanted.
