I would say "Tess is exactly what we were looking for in our divorce" but to be honest, I didn't even know what I was looking for as I entered this new chapter. I was referred to Resolution Mediation and Tess specifically through a friend. I had done research on mediators and lawyers in the area, reached out to a few, and none were getting back to me or were helpful at all. Most mediators told me I had to file for divorce before they would even take us on as clients, and I didn't even know where to start with filing. While dealing with the overwhelming emotions and change divorce brings, the last thing you want is to have to try to figure out legal paperwork. I reached out to Tess for the first time and heard back within 20 minutes. She offered an overview session to walk through everything, and I left the meeting knowing this was exactly the path I wanted to go down. We had a few meetings with Tess in person to draft everything, and she was always a calm voice in a hectic time. She offered advice but ultimately always let us make decisions we felt were best for us, but most importantly best for our son. From start to finish, the entire process took about 2 months. She has multiple packages for payment so you can pick the one that fits your goals most. Overall a divorce mediator is never something you want to have to recommend to someone, but if you're in a position to be able to split amicably, I cannot recommend Tess enough for holding our hands through the process and making a stressful situation a lot easier to navigate through.

My experience with Resolution Mediation was excellent. Tess was wonderful to work with. She helped make our divorce process so smooth. We had to do our sessions virtually due to tough schedules, but she was flexible and accommodating. She explained everything we needed to know very thoroughly and answered all of our questions. Tess made a complicated process very easy for us. With her attorney background and education, she is knowledgeable and able to create a mediation agreement that will be beneficial to both sides and approved by the court quickly. From start to finish, it took 60 days.

From the moment I spoke with Tess her soothing voice and experience of managing divorce mediation was apparent! I was getting exactly what I was looking for! She put me at ease right from the beginning and knew she could make happen what I was looking to achieve! I was calling around to find such a person to help us with our divorce decree with no luck! My therapist recommended her. We have an amicable divorce and just needed someone to write up our unique way of settling our divorce that Suited our family’s needs. She went above and beyond to expedite the process. She educated us on things we were struggling with for us to make the best and most fair decisions for us. She was able to have our divorce filled in a week from doing her zoom consultation( which is free) to our in office mediation appointment, to coming her beautiful office to review the written agreement and signing our final paperwork needed to finalize our divorce. She went above and beyond to help us in many ways! We needed to have it done ASAP and she successfully accomplished that goal! Thank you Tess! We are grateful for the service you provide for people like us that didn’t need lawyers to negotiate our divorce settlement. A lawyer that acts as a mediator for people that are going through an amicable divorced that has legally binding terminology for our unique decisions to have a satisfying divorce agreements that work for us.

Working with Tess made a difficult situation a little easier. Her negotiation skills, patience, and compassion allowed us to come to an agreement and move forward. Based on stories from friends that went the litigation route, using Resolution Mediation was the best decision for us.
