Unfortunately it seems to me that Nick kinda gets a bum deal, as my perception is that the public defenders office shovels indigent clients on him as if he's the only attorney in southern Iowa who they have available to assign cases to... But that's some LUCK For those he represents! He maintainsa pretty demanding caseload it seems, but NICK SLAYS! So no worries getting all the attention your matter deserves from him. My perception is that the majority of criminal defense cases disposed of these days are the result of plea bargains, which often aren't too much trouble to arrange. But I'm aware that Nick efforts for a sizeable number of clients facing some of the most severe consequences and many in trial settings. From my experience, Nick takes alot of pride in his craft, has a great work ethic, and is very serious about his effectiveness in achieving real results for those he represents.
