Had scheduled consultations set up with Austin Norden to review a child support case. First meeting was supposed to be in his office at 11am. He called at 8:30am and said it would have to be over the phone and he'd call me at 11. 11 came and went with no phone call. I finally texted him at 11:30 asking if he was still available to meet, but got no response. At 11:45, I called him and got his voicemail. He immediately called back and acted like nothing happened. No apology, no explanation for missing the 11am meeting without notice. After a quick call explaining the situation, he said he would call back the next day at 3:30 to get more information. Well, 3:30pm came and went with, once again, nothing from him. He didn't even try to call or text me after missing this second appointment, and needless to say, I didn't try to contact him again, since being stood up twice in 2 days was not only rude and inconsiderate, but a window into what it would probably be like if we hired him. It's mind-blowing that someone could treat another person like this and not reach out to apologize. He clearly lacks common curtesy and manners in general. I'd save yourself the headache and hire someone who's reliable and actually cares!

All of the reviews seem to be for Tom. Iv had one of their lawyers assist me in a traffic case and he gave me 30 minutes of his time with really no results. I heard he may have been let go after my case which is good. Businesses need to perform and be accountable for their results. I recently called in and spoke with a diffrent attourney and more or less he didn't want to help me. Iv got a bad taste in my mouth from this firm. I have not experienced Tom's performance. He is approaching $500/ hr.

Tom and his crew were exceptional. He believed in my innocence and fought for me all the way. He even had to talk me off the ledge a time or two;) It was a very LONG process, but could not have had a better outcome. Anyone in the medical field that gets charged with bogus charges contract Tom!!!

I know someone that personally used them and if you have a complicated case, they were absolutely worthless and refuse to use evidence. Thousands of dollars down the tubes and they will keep reeling you in knowing they don’t have a chance. Do not choose Tom Viner!!!

I don't usually write reviews that pertain to businesses that handle personal matters for me. However, Tom and Cassandra are most deserving of recognition for professionalism, knowledge in the field of family law, and timeliness. I agree with the other positive reviews about Tom in that he is direct with his advice and will make sure you know all of the possible outcomes. Tom and Cassandra both have a way of keeping meetings short and uncomplicated. Tom works very well with Cassandra-who also gets straight to the point. They both return phone calls in a reasonable time frame and find time to schedule last minute appointments in a squeeze. I will hire this firm again if I have to. My only complaint is that I didn't hire them sooner.

Tom was amazing to work with. Very straight forward and guided me through every step of the process. Smart man who knows what he’s doing. I high recommend hiring Tom with your legal needs.

Hire Tom Viner. He was extremely smart, compassionate, and professional through every development in the process. It is obvious Tom lives and breathes family law and has a genuine passion for his profession. Plus working with Tom also means working with Cassandra, Paralegal Extraordinaire, whose knowledge, professionalism, and response time are off the charts! I try to channel her steady email tone and saavvy responses in my own day to day communications now. I am not exaggerating. In a very emotional, difficult situation Tom provided steady expertise and honest expectations- no grandstanding, no false hope, just honest, forthright communication and expert strategy. I came away with a result I was very happy with, knowing I hired the best team I could have. Hire them. This is the team you want in your corner.

Hired one Benjamin Devries to help with a divorce, 9 months ago. $4,300 later, not ONE BIT of progress made made, ex still has all my stuff. Tom Viner might be a good lawyer per other reviews, but do NOT hire Benjamin Devries! He is a greasy used car salesman of a lawyer, promises you the world and then turns his back on you when it's all said and done, just takes your money. Filing complaints with every regulatory agency in Iowa. He needs to be DISBARRED.

Even though they couldn't take my case, they gave me enough time to explain things I didn't understand. They were kind to listen attentively and recommend other firms to me. (Small claims)

Tom viner is a very decent man to work with. He's very straightforward with everything and has good communication, I like that. Definitely did help me in my case and I'm thankful.
